Is your hospital room really germ free?

Evidently not:

""We know what to do (to lower infection rates)," William Jarvis, former head of health care infection at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, told reporter Peter Eisler. "It's not rocket science." That so many hospitals fail to take these precautions is both bewildering and inexcusable. Preventing these needless infections would not only save lives but millions of dollars in health care costs."
