New precious metal currency

might , just MIGHT be worth looking into.

"Dec 21 (Reuters) - Private investors in Switzerland, Austria and Germany are lining up to buy gold bars the size of a credit card that can easily be broken into one gram pieces and used as payment in an emergency.

Now Swiss refinery Valcambi, a unit of U.S. mining giantNewmont, wants to bring its "CombiBar" to market in the United States and build up its sales presence India - theworld's largest consumer of gold where the precious metal has long served as a parallel currency."

Granted I couldn't afford it myself, however if there was a return to a precious metal "standard", there might actually be a return of common sense as it pertains to our economy and financial markets.

Not saying that it would, but the possibility exists that it might.
