Remember even paranoids have enemies

However I'm starting to wonder if paranoia will be a new "Mental" health disorder that would allow you to be a involuntary guest somewhere.

And why does it feel it needs an army of brainwashed youth, millions of guns, thousands of armored fighting vehicles and literally billions of rounds of ammunition, just to provide relief to the American people during a natural disaster? Any historian will tell you it sounds more like the arming of the Hitler Youth than an army of first responders fighting forest fires and hurricanes"


Make you go Hmmmmmmm doesn't it?


Then you have the remembrances of someone who has lived through the horror of a socialist government.  And is seeing correlations to what is happening now.

"Next came gun registration. People were getting injured by guns. Hitler said that the real way to catch criminals (we still had a few) was by matching serial numbers on guns. Most citizens were law abiding and dutifully marched to the police station to register their firearms. Not long after-wards, the police said that it was best for everyone to turn in their guns. The authorities already knew who had them, so it was futile not to comply voluntarily."

"No more freedom of speech. Anyone who said something against the government was taken away. We knew many people who were arrested, not only Jews, but also priests and ministers who spoke up."

This reminds me of the quotation:  "Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it."

Right now many are myopic as it relates to the history of our world.  And they are willingly forcing us down the road to repeat it.  With their calls of "Fairness"  and "Common Sense".  Fair for Whom?  And who defines what is or isn't "Common Sense"?  It is slowly turning to the rule of the majority inflicting their will on the minority.  Our Constitution has safeguards in it to prevent that.  However the current administration has done everything in it's power to water and dilute those safeguards so for all intents and purposes they no longer exist or apply.
