Get rid of tracking cookies

Many companies put tracking cookies on your computer that track how and where you go on the web.  Here is 4 easy steps to get rid of those cookies if you are using the Firefox browser.

After you leave that page or logout click on the Tools button in your menubar at the top. Click on Options.

Then click on the privacy tab.  You see how I have mine setup up to use cutsom settings for cookie handling rules.

Click on Show Cookies.  It will shop you all the cookies that are currently on your computer.

Here I clicked on the Facebook.com Cookie.  Then click on Remove Cookie.  That will remove any cookie you don't want on your system.

Be careful doing this though.  Google, Yahoo and other companies require their cookie to be on your computer or you will have to constantly re-login to check your mail or other services they offer.
