Series of possible Bomb threats? A liitle too convenient?

I just saw on the news that there were a series of bomb threats all over the country.  I find it very suspicious that every time there is another scandal popping up, there is an rapid increase in other things that suddenly happen to move certain items off the front page, so to sya.
