Censorship in the digital world: “Amazon Secretly Removes ’1984′ From the Kindle”

  1. My comment is still waiting on the moderator on BZ's site, so I'll rephrase it here.
    If you go to the linked story and look at the top of the page, you'll see that the story is from 2009. The issue was copyright infringement, the rightful owners of the copyright had infringing copies deleted and have since made the book available again.
    Personally, I don't own a Kindle. I like to be able to read without having to use something powered by batteries.
