November 11th 1997.
I was in the waiting room in a hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. A beautiful little baby girl was being born that day.
My 4th child. My 3rd daughter.
That was my Veterans Day.
And while I am glad I served in the Army. I am proud of my service to this nation.
I am more proud of that little baby girl.
Who today is 17 years old.
So I remember Veterans Day as more than just a remembrance and an Honoring of Veterans.
I remember it as the day my daughter entered this world.
