Firearm Bill of Sale

How many private deals do you buy/sell a firearm each year?  And do you know exactly who it is you are dealing with?

Then comes how do you have documentation for your insurance company in case something happens?  Fire, Theft crazy significant other smashing them?

Over there on the right I've added a link to the Texas Gun Trader's Firearm Bill of Sale. Save a copy and print it out for use for those private deals you may do.  And keep a copy for yourself and give a copy to the other person for their records if they don't have one of their own.

Trust me, having this form in your records filled out with the proper info can save you a bunch of headaches if you have a firearms stolen or damaged and you have to report it or file a claim.
