Texas Rep files bill that would make photographing cops illegal.

"The House Bill 2918 introduced by Texas Representative Jason Villalba (R-Dallas) would make private citizens photographing or recording the police within 25 feet of them a class B misdemeanor, and those who are armed would not be able to stand recording within 100 feet of an officer."

Sorry folks, but cops need to be held to a higher standard than the general public. And as such, they need to be held accountable as well. Many departments have proven time and time again they cannot be trusted to police themselves, so the public has had to do so.

All this is, is a way for a State Rep to get some creds from the LE community, and get back at groups that try to hold the police accountable for their brazen illegalities.
