"It has been shown that ‘night owls’ and ‘morning persons’ are genetically different groups. Night owls have better night vision, but suffer from minor glare. Morning people have less problem from glare, but are prone to night blindness.
It’s been proposed that this is so morning people could do most of the day work, while night owls watched for night predators."
Not my comment section but GrrlPower comment section.
As for Nightowls having issues with glare and bright light, I can attest to that problem. I usually worked the night shift during much of my employment doing security for the Housing Authority. I COULD see better at night, however bright lights could blind me quite easily. Add in the fact that I have problems sleeping at night, I guess you could say I am a "Nightowl"
