This is one reason that ammunition prices are so high. You can't make the brass to use for cartridge cases if you don't have copper and zinc. You can't jacket the bullets without the copper. You can't even plate the bullets if there is no copper. The same with gas checks if you cast your own. Unless you use the aluminum siding trick and cut your own checks. But even then, the cost of aluminum is going up as well.
So, this doesn't affect the "Green Economy", this affects EVERYTHING. Many of the effects will be felt for a long time, especially as more and more mining operations are being targeted by strikes, and the shut down of not just copper and coal mines, but bauxite, zinc, lead and other materials.
