A bunch of videos from Big Car YouTube channel - because I'm a nerd

My older brother and I used to share a 1974 VW Super Beetle. It was bright yellow and the license plate started with the letters NEZ. Our parents who spoke French better than we did pointed out the Nez is French for "Nose", and it became the Yellow Nosed Flying Omelet. So if anyone has a bright yellow 1974 Super Beetle with a manual transmission in good shape for sale, let me know. I can at least dream about being able to afford one.

One of my teachers at school who live in our neighborhood owned a Citroen 2CV they had restored. I got to ride in it a few times and I just loved how it seemed so quaint. My father kept trying to buy it from him, but he wouldn't sell it.

I have wanted a Trabant 601 Estate, or the station wagon version of the Trabant since I first found out about them back in the 1980's. It's a toss up between the Trabant and the VW Type 3, and the Trabant, as to which one I want more.

I used to walk past a Porsche 914 every day on my way to elementary school. It was the house just 4 houses down from the kindergarten building. It and the MG Midget that was owned by by one of the teachers at school were some of my fantasy cars.

And I really just want to be able to drive one of these Fiat 600's and 126's.

I am hoping he makes a video on the Lada Niva, as since I've been interested in the game DayZ I've gotten a hankering to see if maybe I can get one. Some other cars on my current wish/dream list: UAZ 452, the UAZ 469, I'd love to replace my 1986 SAAB 900 with another 3 door with the "H" engine and 5 speed manual like I used to have. A VW Type 2 van camper, a second gen version not the third gen. When I was in the Army Resefves, our XO used his VW camper as his daily driver. It was funny seeing him around town as he would also go fishing after he got off his regular job at the hospital. It was quite common to see him fishing down the road from the hospital, sitting in a folding chair next to his van with a small hibachi going while he cooked his dinner.

I think that is enough for now. Time to get some other stuff done.
