The 10mm should have been compared to a 41 Magnum. I have a polymer 10mm and a 200gr JHP load that is right at 1100fps. I also have my grandfather's cowboy 44mag. I am 63 and my arm cannot handle 6 rounds of a full-power 44mag. When I am at the range with the 10 mm. I stop at 60 rounds because I know if I shoot 5 magazines the arm will hurt. BTW: I had all the tendons reattached in my elbow 15 years ago.
