The first link is about the Lay off notices required by WARN and the OMB.  I posted about it before HERE if you want to read it.  But there is more to the story.


"This week, sequestration made headlines again, as Lockheed Martin announced its intention to fall in line with the executive branch’s astonishing request that defense contractors wilfully violate the WARN Act. Per its declaration, the firm will defer sending layoff notices made necessary by the sequestration law; and in return they will receive immunity from the consequences, along with a promise that any fines will be picked up by Uncle Sam. This morning, I spoke to Senator Lindsey Graham about the development."

And Remember when Michelle claimed her husband has done wonders working "around" Congress.


"MICHELLE OBAMA ON The TOM JOYNER MORNING SHOW: Well, we’re understanding that, you know, you can have a president you love, but if you don’t have a congress that’s willing to work, you know, you wind up stalled in so many ways. And I think that Barack has done a phenomenal job working around a congress that has never been willing to help move the country forward on so many different issues. But I think he’s done everything humanly possible to get things passed around the margins. But, you know, just imagine where this country will be when we have Barack Obama as President and we have a congress that’s ready to work hand-in-hand, and willing to compromise to make sure that this country moves forward for everyone."
