A qestion for Wayne LaPierre about the GOP

I'm hoping I"ll be able to make it this years National Rifle Association's Annual Meeting.  So far pending any sudden catastrophe's either with my kids extracurricular activites or here at the house.  I should be able to make it.

However, I just had this question pop up in my brain and I figured I better get it down in print before I either forget it, or I lose one of the many notebooks I write stuff down in.

My question is this...

(Imagine I'm sitting in the press conference at the annual meeting and I direct this question to Mr. LaPierre)

"Mr. LaPierre, what is the National Rifle Association doing to prevent the GOP from shooting it's foot off again in relation to local and national elections?  I would direct your attention to Karl Rove and the more Moderate members of the GOP attempts at marginalizing the TEA Party, and other Conservative groups, in an attempt to make the GOP more Centrist, instead of fighting for what our Country Stands For, and the Conservative Cause."

This is one thing I would like to know.  And I'm quite sure many members of the NRA, SAF, GOA and many other Second Amendment Rights groups and Conservative groups, would like to know.  Just what is the NRA doing to keep Karl Rove and others of his ilk from stealing the conservative movement and co-opting it for their own agenda.

After all, Karl Rove and his associated PAC's didn't want Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio challenging their prospective candidate.  And we know how well that has gone so far.

Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz won DESPITE Mr. Rove and his compatriots roadblocks.

So, Mr LaPierre?  What is the NRA doing to prevent these vampires from sucking the lifeblood out of the Conservative movement?
