You can use old campaign signs to make neat stuff out of.  Also if you paint it first with Kryon fusion for plastic, you can then put a coat of Latex Paint over the top of it to protect it from the Sun's UV rays.  Keeping the Coroplastic from degrading as quickly in the sun.  The boys and I made a small dog house out of Corplastic a few years ago.  It lasted the whole summer in South eastern Texas's sun and heat.  And for just buying some cable ties, we built it basically for free.  We were given the signs.
