Larry Connors a true reporter has been fired

"For KMOV, there is no higher cause than unbiased, objective news reporting. It is what our viewers expect and it is what we work very hard to deliver. We can accept no less. Larry is certainly entitled to his opinion, but taking a personal political position on one of the Station’s Facebook pages creates an appearance of bias that is inconsistent with important journalistic standards. Larry’s departure has nothing to do with the particular position he took, but it does have to do with our belief that his actions made it impossible for him to report for KMOV on certain political matters going forward without at least an appearance of bias. Bringing you accurate and unbiased reporting is the reason we exist."

One Word  BULL!!!

Larry Connors is an old school reporter who wouldn't sit idly by while he saw the targeting of groups and individuals by an out of control government.  And for that he has been fired.

I hope another station hires him to spite KMOV and especially to gain his experience and integrity in reporting.

Larry Connors bosses are punishing him for telling the truth.

In the post I wrote about the Obama Administrations use of the IRS and the Justice Department to persecute individuals and organizations it doesn't like.  Found HERE, now KMOV the station Larry works for has taken him off the air in an apparent attempt to silence him.

"Longtime KMOV (Channel 4) anchorman Larry Conners is “off the air” until further notice.

The station is examining Conners’ recent allegations that he was targeted by the Internal Revenue Service after interviewing President Barack Obama.

“He’s not suspended. We just all thought it made sense (for him) to take a few days off,” news director Sean McLaughlin said Thursday.

“We take this very seriously, and we don’t expect this to drag on. We’re still looking into the situation and weighing our options,” he said."

Please e-mail KMOV and tell them to put Larry Connors back on the air.

That links over to The Gateway Pundit.  I KNOW Larry Connors, as in I have personally met him several times.  When I was working at the Housing Authority I actually had to ask him and his crew, to leave the premises once after an assault had occurred.  I was just following the orders of the HA Supervisor, but I still felt like a jerk asking him and his camera and sound guy to get off the property.  I also met him at Church a few times.  He was friends with a news anchor from another station who went to my church and a couple times he and his family attended services.

Larry Connors is an "Old School" reporter.  He believes it is his job to get the story, the whole story and report it.

I really like and respect him for that.

For the Obama Administration to sic the IRS on him for doing his job, is despicable.
