Here is the next Ferguson and "I Can't Breath"

"BRIDGETON, N.J. (AP) — Another videotaped police killing is raising tensions in another town, this time in New Jersey, where a tense traffic stop ended with a passenger shot to death as he stepped out of a car with his hands raised at shoulder height.

The newly released footage from a police dashboard camera shows Bridgeton officers Braheme Days and Roger Worley in a Dec. 30 stop that escalates quickly after Days warns his partner about seeing a gun in the glove compartment of the Jaguar."


After some digging it seems the man who was shot does have a criminal history, and I haven't seen the video yet, but I will just say that it sounds like the Police Officers need retraining in "Use of Force"

I will hold any judgement further until I have seen the video.

I'm sorry, but the police hold a Sacred Trust.  They have taken an Oath, to protect and serve, the people, and to defend the Rights of the people.  And here they are not just violating someone's rights, but actively subverting them.  These Officers need to be wholly responsible for any judgement in any lawsuit brought.  Yes the City needs to be held accountable for hiring them and not properly supervising them, but these Officers need to pay personally as well.

And ALL Law Enforcement Officers and Agents.  If they violate the Rights of the people, they too need to be held civilly and criminally responsible.  Maybe then this madness will stop.

The weapon in the photo, posted by his dad on Facebook, resembles a military-style assault rifle but, his father says, is actually just a .22-caliber copy. And that, the family believes, is why child welfare case workers and police officers visited the home in Carneys Point last Friday and asked to see his guns"

Someone evidently called Child Protection Services, because a father gave his child a .22 copy of an AR-15.  The CPS Caseworker shows up bring 3 police officers who ask to see the guns and to see if they are registered.  New Jersey law doesn't require registration, so this is a backdoor way of registering of firearms for one.  For two, anti-gun persons and gun control advocates will see this as a way of legally harassing lawful firearms owners.

This sets a bad precedent, where people who don't like that you own firearms will call the various welfare agencies and get firearm owners harassed.  For them it is a win-win scenario.  They don't actually have to prove their point, they just need to get an investigation started.  As the various welfare agencies seem to specialize on over reach and mission creep, I fear this family is in for the fight of their lives both to keep custody of their children, and their firearms.

I ask you to think about the possibilities this opens up for the anti-gun forces.

And I ask you to start taking steps now, to prevent it happening to you or other lawful firearms owners.

OCEANPORT, New Jersey (Reuters) - It is hard to sleep at night inside the tent city at Oceanport, New Jersey. A few hundred Superstorm Sandy refugees have been living here since Wednesday - a muddy camp that is a sprawling anomaly amidst Mercedes Benz dealerships and country clubs in this town near the state's devastated coastal region.

Inside the giant billowy white tents, the massive klieg lights glare down from the ceiling all night long. The air is loud with the buzz of generators pumping out power. The post-storm housing — a refugee camp on the grounds of the Monmouth Park racetrack - is in lockdown, with security guards at every door, including the showers.

No one is allowed to go anywhere without showing their I.D. Even to use the bathroom, "you have to show your badge," said Amber Decamp, a 22-year-old whose rental was washed away in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

The mini city has no cigarettes, no books, no magazines, no board games, no TVs, and no newspapers or radios. On Friday night, in front of the mess hall, which was serving fried chicken and out-of-the-box, just-add-water potatoes, a child was dancing and dancing — to nothing. "We're starting to lose it," said Decamp. "But we have nowhere else to go."

Unless you have the means and the knowledge to ensure it's NOT you and your family.

One thing you can do is to have the knowledge to change the situation yourself.

Utility Linesmen  volunteering their times to help get power back on in storm ravaged New Jersey are told they cannot help.  Because they are not "UNION" Linesmen.

What type of stupidness is this? There are people without power, businesses, hospitals and New Jersey is going to only allow "Union" Linesmen in to help?  Someone needs to get their britches re-sized or some sense knocked into them.
