On Hi Point Pistols
Mike says it all in his three videos. YES! Hi Point makes a durable, affordable firearm. YES! they CAN be reliable.
However the kicker is, they can ONLY be reliable if it has a good magazine.
And Hi Point subcontracts their magazines and the subcontractor evidently has a quality control issue.
Do you want to spend $150.00 for a firearm then have nothing but issues from the get go because of a bad magazine? Do you want to spend $15.00 to $2500 for a magazine and have every thrid or fourth magazine mess up constantly?
Would you trust your life to that firearm under those conditions?
