Action On Major Gun Bills Imminent
G'morning Lucky Gunners,
I wanted to reach out to you over on the West Coast to let you know about something that's going on right now in California. Governor Jerry Brown is planning to act in the next few hours on a number of gun-related bills - many of which are incredibly restrictive when it comes to purchasing guns and ammunition in California.
Before he leaves at 11 a.m. (Pacific Time) to take a two-week European vacation, Gov. Brown is expected to make a decision on Senate Bill 1235. If this bill becomes law, it would require all ammunition sales be conducted through a licensed vendor in the state of California.
In other words, online ammo shops like Lucky Gunner could no longer ship your rounds directly to your home.
The NRA-ILA has put together a list of all the bills that Gov. Brown is expected to act on today. If you are so inclined, we would encourage you to get in touch with Gov. Brown's office immediately, before he leaves on his vacation to let him know your thoughts on not just Senate Bill 1235 but all the 2nd Amendment restricting legislation he is about to consider. You can email through this link or you can call Gov. Brown's office directly at 916-445-2841.
Thank you for your support. We wish you a safe, happy and healthy Independence Day weekend!
- Chris and Angela
