Giant and Futuristic Ships Fall into Water - LCS Class & Mark VI US Navy Boat Launch

Light & stealthy class frigates Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) is a program under development since the late 1990s.

Lockheed Martin has selected the MT30 gas turbines Rolls-Royce plc for its vessels

The only standardized weapons planned for now is limited to a naval gun turret Mk 110 BAE Systems (formerly Bofors 57 Mk3) of 57 mm, which is also installed on new ships from the United States Coast Guard, which can draw up to 220 rounds per minute to 9 nautical miles and a system of missile defense close-air area SeaRam.

The Mark VI is a new class of patrol boat in service with the United States Navy and is built by SAFE Boats International.
