The lower landers are still on the surface, the upper crew compartment had a rocket that propelled it into lunar orbit. I read a newspaper about one of the later missions that the instruments left behind on the surface recorded it's impact on the surface as a mini moon quake, so I assume they all crashed back down on the lunar surface.
