If you have a KTD Drive

Please use it to boot up your system.  Make Sure you have a Permanent file of at least 2 GB.  Be sure to go into Knoppix, the (GUI) Graphical User Interface, click on the start button in the bottom left corner, go up to preferences then go down to Synaptic Package Manager.  When it opens click on "Mark All Upgrades" then click apply.  The update window will ask you if you want to continue as some of the pacakges may not be signed, click ok/apply.

This will update your KTD-Knoppix operating system and any other software you may have installed.

In order:

Boot into Knoppix

Click Start

Click Preferences

Click Synaptic Package Manager

Click Mark All Upgrades

Click Apply

Click Mark/Ok/Apply

Some packages you may also wish to install:

Flash

VLC Media Player

FBB Ham Radio Program

AFSK Ham Radio Program

While you are are upgrading and installing, look around at the other programs available.  You will find hundred of GNU Licensed programs, which means they are free for you to use.  You just cannot try to make a profit on them
