That title isn’t joking. This post is aimed at my liberal readers. I’m a libertarian leaning Republican and gun expert, who thinks you are wrong about a lot of stuff, but I’m not writing this to gloat about your loss. For the record, I disliked all the presidential candidates.
Judging by your social media over the last few days many liberals have been utterly terrified that your government might turn tyrannical or that evil people will now be emboldened to hurt you. I’m going to let you in on a little thing the other half of the country is familiar with to keep those unlikely, yet catastrophic, events from happening.
And that my lefty friends, is 2nd Amendment.
Having just gone through a war against a tyrannical government, the Founders understood that governments can go bad, so they made sure to note our God given right (or we’ll say naturally occurring right, since a bunch of you are atheists) to keep and bear arms in order to defend ourselves. The 2nd Amendment isn’t about hunting or “sporting purposes”, it’s about having weapons that you can fight with. As an added bonus, being able to protect yourself from a tyrannical government means that you’re a lot better equipped to deal with any common criminal who decides to hurt you.
Before I get into the details about how to enjoy your newly discovered 2nd Amendment rights, let me just say that I get you’re sad, angry, bitter, and fearful. But just like my people over the last few elections, you’ll get over it. The really hyperbolic freak outs about Literally Hitler make you sound just like the Alex Jones crowd worried that Obama was going to herd Christians into FEMA camps last time. So take a deep breath and relax. Your friends and neighbors are the same as they were last week. The vast majority weren’t voting because racism, they voted against the status quo and a really unlikable Democrat. And no, they aren’t going to round you up into cattle cars."

I didn't want Trump to be the President, and I SURE AS HELL didn't want Hillary Clinton.
I KNOW the REAL history. I LIVED through Bill Clinton's years as President, I KNOW all of the BS that went on THEN. And I SURE AS HELL didn't want to live through it AGAIN only more so under Hillary.
Obama is bad enough, if Hillary got in, it would actually have gotten to the point of NEEDING the Ammo Box as Larry wrote.
If Trump DOES, start with the Cattle Cars and detention Camps, I can GUARANTEE you, that several thousand Veterans would stand up and say not just NO!, but HELL NO!!

I was in the 102nd Army Reserve Command and I was assigned to the 5503d US Army Hospital.
I enlisted in 1985 because of my desire to HELP people. I signed up to be a Medical Specialist, because I DO NOT like the idea of KILLING.
If I am FORCED to, however, I will do what I must to PROTECT innocents. If that means using a firearm to do so, I will. If that means that I myself am killed, so be it.
I WILL PROTECT and DEFEND the United States of America and it's Citizens from ANY ENEMY.
Foreign OR Domestic.
I and EVERY OTHER VETERAN and currently serving member of the Armed forces took that Oath.
And we WILL UPHOLD IT.
I WILL NOT use the Arms and knowledge I have to HARM the innocent.
To do so would be a VILE degradation and VIOLATION of the Oath I took.
If it EVER comes to the point that the Ammo Box is what is necessary to Uphold our Constitutional rights, it will be a very sad day.
And if you decide to raise arms against the United States, you had better be sure, you are doing it for the RIGHT reason.
Because those of us who have served, will either stand against you, or if you are right and just, we will stand with you.
So you need to decide, are your Rights being violated? And not the right to NOT be offended. I'm sorry, you DO NOT have that Right under the Constitution. If everyone had the "Right" to NOT be offended, a LOT of you Leftists and Liberals would be in jail for OFFENDING the majority of the rest of the nation.
