A watch for Erica

A few years ago, I wanted to give a gift to my friend Erica, who means very much to me.

I thought about it, and thought about it, and I couldn't think of something I could give her that would have a real meaning to both her and I.

I finally bought 2 mechanical wind up watches.  I gave one to her one her birthday, 2 years ago.  Today is her birthday.  And I think about her everyday.  And I have my watch, the match to hers right on my desk next to my keyboard, so I can see it and think of her every single day.

I hope she thinks of me every time she sees her watch.
