Oh bother
with the issues of posts of mine disappearing I just went and changed passwords for 6 of my accounts. Now as long as I don't lose the post it note on my monitor until those passwords become ingrained, I'll be fine.

I have a little pocket spiral notebook with all mine...just in case the computer forgets them.
