almost $20.00 just because ObamaCare aka The Affordable Care Act went into effect? I got my insurance bill in today's mail and my policy went from 56.94 to 75.54 a month. That's 18.60 a month increase.
I called my insurance agent. Part of it is a $1.00 increase in the Texas car theft prevention fund fee, the rest, they don't know. There is a code in the computer which none of the agents or their supervisors have seen before.
So I'll be calling first thing in the morning to try to figure this out.
