Charities aren't going to be there.

"In approaching this issue, the Obama administration has had all of the wrong instincts. It has been adamant in its insistence that all changes on the revenue side increase the level of progressivity. The Tax Reform Act of 2012 thus moves the top marginal rates up to 39.6 percent, without accounting for the Medicare override of 3.8 percent that hits all taxpayers in the maximum tax bracket, making their combined rate 43.5 percent, which is above the Clinton norms. Since taxable deductions are not allowed against the Medicare excise tax, the administration has already taken a first step toward its goal of limiting the deductions that are available to high-income taxpayers."

Click that link above and read the article, then come back here and I'll tell you my thoughts on this.

Obama and his supporters are targeting Conservatives with this rush to increased Taxes and Reduced Deductions and Exemption.

How?

Republicans and Conservatives donate more to Charitable Organizations.  If you make it so Conservatives can deduct less of their contributions, they will donate less.

Why is this targeted at Conservatives?  Because they give more by percentage of their income to Charities than Leftists.

"-- Although liberal families' incomes average 6 percent higher than those of conservative families, conservative-headed households give, on average, 30 percent more to charity than the average liberal-headed household ($1,600 per year vs. $1,227)."

So as Conservatives give more by percentage than liberals.  So by reducing the deduction for charitable donations you hurt Conservatives more than you do the Leftists, who give less per capita than Conservatives do.

Why does this matter?

If Conservatives are basically being punished for their Charitable Donations, they will donate less.  And Charities will take the hit.

Charities are where many people go to for help.  With less Charities able to provide that help, more people are forced to turn to the .GOV for it.

Increasing the dependence on the .GOV and strengthening the Leftists political hold on this country.

So you see why I see this as a direct attack on Conservatives.
