An hour for response and action???
Heck I live out in the sticks and we have a better response time than than. Even with only 6 deputies on duty at any one time. If all the deputies are busy on other calls, our Sheriffs policy is to call in neighboring area's officers to make sure the county is covered. The longest response time I can remember was 26 minutes, and it was a city officer who came out.
