That is just flat strange... NEVER seen or heard of that before!
I've seen some very old .410 ammo that had very sensitive primers. One shell went off just from closing the action hard. Scared the dickens out all of us.
The explosion is about 3-6 inches from where the shell rolled off the table, and on the metal side of the casing.
