Need Novice Shooters in Corpus Christi Texas area

I'm working on a video about Vice President Biden's claims that "All you need is a double barrel shotgun"

If you are a novice to shooting and live near the Corpus Christi area, and don't mind having your visage in one of my videos or the recoil from a shotgun, please click on the GreyLocke e-mail under Send a Missive over there on the right side of the page.

In the video you will be shooting 7 different firearms, 3 shotguns, 2 rifles and 2 handguns.

The criteria:

You will fire at least 6 rounds from each weapon.

Weapons to be fired:

Single shot top break 12 gauge - 6 rounds

Double Barrel 12 gauge - 6 rounds

Pump Action 12 gauge - 12 rounds

.38 Special Revolver - 12 rounds

M1911A1 .45 ACP - 14 rounds

.22 Pump Action Rifle - 28 rounds

SKS Semiautomatic rifle 7.62X39 - 20 rounds

The test is to see just how fast and accurate you are with each weapon, with reloading

The test will be recorded for posting on Youtube.

I will be supplying the firearms and ammunition for the test.

You will only need to show up and bring your own hearing and eye protection.

You will be firing at a target 7 to 10 feet away from you.

I am currently negotiating with the proprietor of an indoor range for the filming of part of this test.  As such the shotgun portion of the test will be limited to birdshot rounds, instead of buckshot or slugs.  The SKS portion of this test would be performed outside on private property firing into the berm on a drainage ditch at 17 to 25 foot range.  If I cannot come to an agreement with the range proprietor the entire test will be performed outside at the above mentioned property for the SKS portion of the test.

I would like to try to do this test on the second on March just outside the Rockport Texas area.

Again, if you are interested and able to assist in this test please send an E-mail to the GreyLocke e-mail address over on the right side of the blog under the "Send a Missive" header.
