Your hunting rifle is now a sniper rifle
FALL RIVER, M.A (WPRI) - A local man is arrested after police seize a stash of weapons from a Fall River home.
Police were called to an apartment on North Main Street Tuesday night for reports of a man heavily armed with weapons.
Once inside, police discovered a loaded handgun and shotgun, a sniper rifle and semi-automatic rifle, and more than 600 rounds of ammunition.
Police arrested Colin Kenny, 23, for assault and various weapons charges.
Take note of this Hunters who say that it is ONLY others peoples guns that are dangerous. So when you throw other gun owners under the bus, remember your guns can be classified whichever way the politicians want as well.

Lucky Gunner Ammo Test
Well It took me a while but I finally got to test the .45 ACP Fiocchi ammo that Heidi at Luckygunner.com sent me.
They sent me a box of 230 gr FMJ .45 ACP for me to test with my Norinco 1911A1.. I enjoyed testing the ammunition against my Winchester White Box 230 gr FMJ .45 ACP, I had some photos however the SD card in my camera is messed up, so I was not able to recover the photos.
However I do have some results to share.
Control: Winchester Whitebox
shooting 2, 7 round strings at 15 feet. Average groups size 4 1/2 inches with 1 flyer bringing the groups to 6 inches.
No failures to feed or fire, 1 failure to eject which was quickly cleared and resume firing.
Penetration shooting into 3 liter soda bottles filled with water lined up in a row.
Winchester Whitebox penetrated 4 slug exiting bottle #4 at an angle
Second round penetrated 5 bottles and slug was in fifth bottle hardly deformed.
Third round penetrated 3 bottles and took off for parts unknown.
Power test filled a 2 liter bottle with dirt and place it on top of a stand to see if the bullet has enough force to knock the bottle down or off the stand.
Winchester Whitebox 3 rounds all 3 knocked the bottle over and off the stand.
No further FTF, Fire or Eject.
Cleaned Pistol to start fresh.
Fiocchi Ammo
2, 7 round strings at 15 feet, average groups size 4 1/4 inches with 2 flyers bringing the groups to 5 3/4 inches. No failures to feed, fire or eject
Penetration: 1st round penetrated 2 bottles and took off for parts unknown.
Second round penetrated 4 bottles and ruptured the fifth, slug in 4th bottle, also first failure to eject. Cleared pistol for next round.
Third round penetrated 5 bottles and was recovered in the 5th bottle. It could almost be reloaded and used again.
Power: 1st round knocked the bottle completely off the stand and split the bottle.
Second round knocked the bottle over and almost off the stand.
Third round split the bottle but did not knock it over. Shell stove piped, cleared the jam and fired a 4th power test which knocked the bottle off the stand.
I shot the rest of the round off at various targets, such as monster energy drinks cans filled with water. Without fail the Fiocchi shredded the cans. The 5 gallon bucket filled with water took a full magazine the final round stove piped.
It's the first time I've fired the Fiocchi Ammunition, and I will say that I like it. The recoil seems to be a little more than the Winchester Whitebox, but it is very manageable. The 2 stove pipes I honestly think are my fault as I wasn't holding the pistol tightly enough.
I hope that I get a chance to test some more of the Fiocchi Ammo. It is accurate and seems to me to be just a little bit hotter than the Winchester Ammo. It did seems to leave my pistol a little bit cleaner than the Winchester, I didn't have that much powder residue on my slide like I do with the Winchester Ammo.
If you'd like to get some of the Fiocchi Ammo to try yourself, follow this link (50 rounds Fiocchi .45 ACP) and get some. They also offer 1000 round pack at this link (1000 rounds Fiocchi .45 ACP)

Kathleen at Hillbuzz has an interesting Idea
"The Democrat-Controlled-Media’s bias against GOP candidates who can beat Barack Hussein Obama is getting more apparent every day.
The most blatant recent example was the CBS/National Journal debate in South Carolina, where GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul was allowed to speak for only 89 seconds during the televised hour of the debate, receiving just one question. And Michelle Bachmann’s campaign was inadvertently copied on an email from CBS “News” prior to the debate, in which CBS “News” Political Director John Dickerson admitted that Michelle Bachmann “is not going to get many questions” in the debate (though she did get far more time than GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul)."

Veterans Day is very special to me
This picture was taken over spring break earlier this year.
This picture was taken over the summer on a trip to St. Louis Missouri. We were at the St. Louis Zoo.
This picture was taken a few weeks ago at the final Cross Country race for her school.
And this one I just took a few minutes before starting this post.
My little Angel is becoming a very beautiful young lady. This is one of the reasons Veterans Day is important to me. The honoring of our servicemen and women, the honoring of all who have served. And because God gave me a beautiful daughter.
I need to buy more guns now. And a bunch of boys had better stay away. :)

The Ulsterman has the White House Insider again Edited Fast & Furious
Another look back at the Bill Daley – Valerie Jarrett battles following this week’s breaking news of Daley’s imminent departure/demotion from the Obama White House. No other media source was detailing conflict between Daley and other members of the Obama administration at the time this interview was initially published in April of 2011. Given this week’s revelations – these interviews now hold even more considerable meaning and insight into just what is going on within the Obama White House:

Edit to add just a few entries down there is a very interesting discussion about Fast and Furious. The Gunwalking scandal currently taking place.
"Ulsterman: It seems the Solyndra scandal is heating up for the White House as –name withheld- predicted. You still feel Fast and Furious is the scandal to focus on as the means of getting to Obama?
Insider: To hell with Solyndra. I told you before – if it helps to weaken the administration, fine. So be it. The more the merrier – but NO, Solyndra is not what we are focusing on. Fast and Furious remains the most pressing concern at this moment for those inside the administration trying to contain the scandal. I assure you of that. They were all in on that program you know. The administration…the party leadership. It was attached to the arrogance they had after passage of Obamacare – they thought there was nothing they couldn’t accomplish. Nothing they couldn’t push through."A little further down the page is this nugget of information from the Insider.
"Insider: Bullsh-t there isn’t an answer – it’s just that the answer is the most frightening one, so not enough people are willing to look at it. If the Obama administration wasn’t really concerned about the actual guns – they lost over a thousand or so, right? Can’t find them. No idea where they went. So those guns weren’t the concern. It was the crime they wanted to trace back to those guns that were sold in the United States. It was the crimes they wanted to happen – they fu—ing encouraged to happen – that was the purpose of all of this. Turn around and use those crimes to push through much tougher federal gun controls, and push through some kind of amnesty immigration policy. WE killed 200 Mexicans – that message…guilt voters into amnesty, right? And I’m not opposed to some immigration policy – it’s needed, and long overdue. But for God’s sake – I’m not for killing people to get there. This White House was willing to do that. This White House, the Obama administration – they were willing to kill Mexicans. But they made a mistake…the killing of the border agents – they didn’t prepare to have those killings linked to the weapons. Or if they did, they didn’t realize it would backfire against them like it did."

Bias? Double Standard?
Ed Driscoll has a look at the media's recent history.
"In 2009 and 2010, the media trashed the Tea Party, using the crazied, hyperbolic language possible — and yet were envious of their success at the polls last November, and wanted a Tea Party of their own. Hence, Occupy Wall Street. Richard Fernandez asks a great question at the Belmont Club. Did the MSM’s intensely negative reporting cause them (directly or indirectly) to amp up the craziness at OWS to waaaay past 11 on Nigel Tufnel’s Marshall stack, or is that simply what happens when a mass of people with an ill-defined cause co-habituate in an urban Burning Man festival for months on end?"

Occupy Wall Street Leaderless Leaders are appropriating
"On Sunday, October 23, a meeting was held at 60 Wall Street. Six leaders discussed what to do with the half-million dollars that had been donated to their organization, since, in their estimation, the organization was incapable of making sound financial decisions. The proposed solution was not to spend the money educating their co-workers or stimulating more active participation by improving the organization’s structures and tactics. Instead, those present discussed how they could commandeer the $500,000 for their new, more exclusive organization. No, this was not the meeting of any traditional influence on Wall Street. These were six of the leaders of Occupy Wall Street (OWS)."

"Ulsterman: It’s been a while hasn’t it? Face to face that is.
Insider: Yes it has. Been busy. Tired. Loving it though. I really do love this. All of this. Gonna miss it. And we have made so much progress. Incredible progress.
Ulsterman: How so? Eric Holder remains at the DOJ. Barack Obama remains president.
Insider: Really? That’s how you put it to me? Holder is at the DOJ – for now. For now, right? Open your eyes. Holder is getting absolutely slammed at every turn. We got people in Congress calling for full investigations now. Calling for Holder to step down. Calling for f***ing justice! You didn’t see that last year. You didn’t see that before we started all of this. Something like that doesn’t happen in days or weeks, or even a month or two. It takes f***ing time. Who else pointed to the DOJ and said THERE IS THE SCANDAL. Who else? Nobody but me. I gave you that. On a f***ing platter I gave you that. So don’t come here now on my invite and point at me and say there hasn’t been any progress. ERIC HOLDER IS GOING DOWN. Ok? It’s happening. Right before our f***ing eyes. And like I’ve always told you, Holder is the Obama firewall. Holder is the stop-gap to everything. Every f***ing thing. Canadian Shale oil to China instead of the U.S.?
Excuse me Mr. President, how is this supposed to help your constituents? You know Real Americans? The ones who are trying to put food on the family table, pay their bills and you know, live? How can higher prices for fuel help me? I have 7 children and I can barely afford to cover all of their necessary expenses now. I just had to pay 160.00 to get my daughters flute fixed, oh the flute is a luxury? Not to her and not to me. That flute and her skillful playing of it might just help her get a scholarship for her to go to a school I can in no way afford. However the trip to the music store to pick it up cost me almost $20.00 in gas. That same amount of gas before you came to office cost me $12.00 That is an $8.00 difference. $8.00 is enough to buy dinner for myself and all 7 of my children. Or it was before food costs started going up because of increased fuel costs. So now a meal for myself and my kids costs almost $13.00. Another $5.00 taken out of my budget. Mr. President do you really even care about the average people? Or was that just a campaign slogan? You constantly talk about helping the disadvantaged people, well here I am I am disadvantaged. I am disabled through no fault of my own. I have steel plates in my back from a fall at work, I have a lot of nerve damage, I have since herniated 2 more discs in my back and neck because I seem to keep falling down, since my balance has gone to hell since my surgery. My work-comp case has been on-going since 2004 and still has not gone to court. Yes that's right, 7 years going on 8 come next february, and I am still fighting the insurance company and the work comp division. I'm not rich, I'm not one of the 99%. I was a person who worked 40-50 hours a week at a job I enjoyed, that paid all of my bills, put food on my family's table, clothes on my children's back and a little extra in my pocket. And ever day you futz around and dither makes my costs on everything go up. Which means I have less and less available to provide for my children. And "YOU" blame me and people like me for problems "YOU" and "YOUR" minions and "YOUR" policies have created and continue to create. You're right. There is a problem in America. And you are the one causing it.

Interview with an Obama/Washington Insider
"But would another four years of an Obama presidency be the best thing for America? (Long pause) Now that is a much more interesting question right there, and a question I think more and more Democratic Party insiders are asking themselves these days, myself included. I am going to come right out and say it – No. Obama is not up to the job of being president. He simply doesn’t seem to care about the work involved. You want to know what? Obama is lazy. He really is. And it is getting worse and worse. Would another four years of Obama be the best thing for America? No it would not. What this country needs is a president who is focused on the job more than on themselves. Obama is not that individual. I actually hope he doesn’t run again. Looking back, as much fun as the campaign in 2008 was, Hillary Clinton should have been the nominee. Hillary was ready to be president. Obama was not ready. He had never lost a campaign. Everything was handed to him. He doesn’t really understand the idea of work – real, hard, get your heart and soul into it work. And frankly, that is very disappointing to a whole lot of us…"

Gun Control in my house
It is extremely simple, which drives the gun control activists nuts because it isn't what they perceive as "Proper" gun control.
Here they are in order
- All guns are always loaded.
- Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target. And you are ready to shoot.
- Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
"All Guns Are Always Loaded"
For the most part this is true in my house. My children all know that firearms are NOT a toy. They have Air-soft guns and BB Guns and Pellet Guns. And they know what each of these weapons can do. How? By seeing just what an Air-soft pellet, BB, Lead Pellet from a .177 Pellet rifle can do to a soda can filled with water. Then seeing what a 36 gr .22 LR Bullet does to a similar can. Without exception, none of the "toys" compares to what happens when the hydrostatic shock from a .22 destroys the can. A .177 pellet will split the can, but not split it wide open and make it jump 3 feet in the air. My children have seen what happens when a load of 00 Buck out of a 12 gauge hits a 3 liter bottle filled with water. It isn't pretty. But it is an extremely graphic representation of the amount of power a firearm has. the same thing when a 7.62X39 or 7.62X51 round hits a 5 gallon bucket filled with water, with the lid on tight. A few times I've had the lid fly over 20 feet away. So my children "KNOW" just how dangerous and deadly a firearm is.
#2 "Never Let the Muzzle Cover Anything You Are Not Willing To Destroy"
My kids have fired all of my weapons at various times. They know exactly how much pressure it take to pull a trigger. I've also demonstrated just how light a weight that actually is, by having them hold a raw egg in thier hand while they drop their hand down onto a table. Try it. Hold a raw egg in your hand palm up, loosely hold it, now put your elbow on a table and let your hand fall naturally. Nine times out of ten you will crack the egg. So the kids know that if that muzzle sweeps across something they don't want to shoot like one of their siblings or me or the house they run the risk of an ND or an AD. Also to help train with that some snap caps come in handy. I shook up one of my know it all kids, I won't say which one, who wanted to carry a rifle with their finger inside the triggerguard with the safety on. With a snap cap in the chamber I asked the child in question to jump out of the back of the truck carrying the rifle, they did and I heard the Click-Snap of the hammer dropping. I then asked them to clear the rifle. And they couldn't because it was little too hard to pull back the charging handle against the weight of the dropped hammer. I made my point.
And that part also covers
#3 "Keep Your Finger Off The Trigger Until Your Sights Are On The Target. And You Are Ready To Shoot"
All of the kids were shocked by just how easy it was to have a ND or AD. So drilling them constantly that their fingers do NOT belong inside the trigger guard until they have sights on target and are ready to shoot really stuck.
#4 "Be Sure Of Your Target And What Is Beyond It"
Demonstrating this to the kids was another graphical demonstration. I set up a 1/8th inch steel plate held up by 2 5 gallon buckets filled with water. One bucket in front of the plate which was my target, and one bucket behind it. And 5 feet further behind that was a 4X8 piece of plywood in front of my berm/backstop. That only took 1 round of 7.62X51 FMJ from my C-91 to destroy both buckets, punching a nice hole through the plate and peppering the plywood with 5 or 6 pieces of the bullet, 2 of those pieces went all the way through the plywood into the backstop. My twin boys were very impressed, until I explained to them that if it wasn't for the berm/backstop those pieces could have gone on and hurt or killed someone.
So as I sit here typing this I stopped to think about just how many weapons there are near me. Without getting up and going to the safe I have 7 loaded weapons, that I KNOW my children will not touch without permission or cause. Not think, I KNOW. My kids know anytime they would like to shoot all they have to do is ask, and I'll get one of the rifles or the handguns out of the safe, and they can run to their room to get their PPP gear. So they don't have the same fascination with firearms that kids who grow up without access or knowledge of them. To me and my children firearms are more of a tool and an enjoyment than anything else. The kids know dad keeps 2 of his revolvers loaded with snake shot for the snakes, and 2 of the shotguns loaded with #8 rounds for the same reason. They know the semi-automatic pistols are loaded with FMJ for the Tokarev and hollow points for the 1911A1. The rifles are loaded with FMJ with an extra mag for the C-91 on the buttstock and a bandolier for the SKS next to it.
My kids KNOW all this stuff. Am I worried about them getting into my guns when I'm not around? No, I'm not. I'm worried about any of their friends who come over and want to play with my guns. Hence I lock my door when I'm not at home. If my 2 oldest daughters need a weapon for any reason they know where the key to my room is and they know just behind the door is a loaded shotgun. They know where the 2 revolvers loaded with snakeshot are as well as where the serious ammunition for both revolvers is. They know where the key to the gunsafe is if they need even more serious firepower.
My kids are "Gun Safe" Many children, especially children in areas where firearms ownership is restricted or frowned upon are not. And THAT is where you get children playing with firearms shooting and killing themselves or other children. They don't know any better. All they know is what they see on television. They see the good guys and bad guys waving firearms around and nobody gets hurt for real. They don't see just how dangerous these tools actually are, they don't see proper safety procedures, or the reason for the procedures.
Gun Control advocates say "It's for the children." No it's not. It's for their own sense of superiority, of I make the rules so they apply to you, not to me and mine. Some Gun Control Advocates actually believe that less guns will equal less crime. The problem is the only way that could possibly be true was if there were no guns anywhere in the world, and no one had the knowledge to make them. Sorry that isn't ever going to happen. If that ever did happen though, crimes would still be committed, people would still be killed and assaulted, just with other items, knives, axes, machetes, screwdrivers, hammers, shovels, rakes forks, pens, pencils, hoes, sticks, rocks, broken glass, many other things can be used as a weapon. The problem is not the item, it is the intent behind the wielder of the item. And that is what Gun Control activists don't understand. Intent, not the item is the problem. I own firearms. I have no intent in ever harming another human being unless they offer violence to me or mine. But several Gun Control activists have threatened violence to others. Don't believe me? Go to Dave Codrea's site and look in his archives. You will find comments, Tweets and posts of Gun Control activists wishing harm and in a few cases outright threatening people who do not agree with their views or who have caught them in their lies. So for them, they HAVE the intent, so I would not want them to own firearms as they might be a danger to myself or others let alone themselves.
I'm going to wrap this up.
Gun Control in my opinion is teaching everyone safe responsible gun handling skills. That should be the only Gun Control that should be talked about.

Any of the Republican candidates is much better than Obama, including even Ron Paul with his isolationist/McGovern-like foreign policy. I’d like to remind you of Reagan’s “11th commandment”: never speak ill of a fellow Republican. Right now all these attacks on Romney make it much easier for Obama to win, should Romney get the nomination. Ultimately we all want Obama to lose in 2012. So, he is the one we need to attack. People were saying that McCain or Hillary were Obama-light. But any “Obama-light” would be infinitely better than “Obama-full version”

My furry bedwarmers
Since Phlegmmy posts her pups all the time, I thought I'd share my two ear warmers with you. They are sisters about 22 months old and they either sleep at the head of my bed while I'm on the computer or Cao (Cow) the black and white one sleeps at my head while Layla the reddish brown one sleeps under the covers at my side or in between my feet. Their momma Daisy, either sleeps on the floor next to the bed or she sleeps on the pillow on the other side of my bed. And usually Skeeter, Gemma and QT Pi (Cutie Pi, pi being the actual symbol for Pi) will be somewhere on the bed with me as well, sometime Skeeter joins Layla under the covers, other times he joins Cao next to my head.
Rolling over at night is an unusual negotiation at times.
Cross Country
It started out bright and early at the park about 25 miles away from home. The birds in the lake were looking around at all the people suddenly showing up so early.
They looked at everyone and tried to do their normal routine.
But the people kept coming and making more and more noise
They finally started herding their little ones out of the small lake and into the bushes and shrubbery around the lake.
Here is my #4 child, youngest (and third) Daughter, in her cross country uniform. Doesn't she look happy dad is taking her picture?
Here is her grade group (8th Grade) getting ready to start.
I actually got it right as the starter fired the starting pistol, I'm surprised I actually got it.
AND THEY'RE OFF!
Here she is coming around the back of the front section of the 2 miles course. Only 1.5 miles to go.
Here she is coming off the back portion of the course, only .25 miles left to the finish line.
I was unable to get to the finish line because of how decrepit I am, but here is the Middle school team, 7th graders in front 8th graders in back. She finished 15th out of 27 and improved her time by a minute and 8 seconds. I'm very proud of her. The head coach said if she continues to work out, she has a place on the junior varsity team next year.
And this picture she had to take as it was while we were walking back to the van she saw a family of bears on the side of the road. So of course she had to take their picture
Her team took 2nd place Saturday, and came in 3rd place for the entire season out of 9 schools. I am very proud of her, and I think she will do very well next year in athletics.

I am awaiting the Brown truck of happiness
The first test I normally do is the hydrostatic test. Where a round if fired into an opened aluminum can filled with water to guage the effectiveness of how well the round transfer the shock to the container. Followed up by shooting into a filled but sealed 1 liter bottle, 2 liter bottle and 3 liter bottle. And while it is fun to shoot the bottles in also shows how the shock is transferred by the amount of damage done to the bottles. Then using more filled 3 liter bottles, the penetration is tested, 2, 3 liter bottles filled with water is roughly equal to 1, 1 gallon jug allowing for the difference in the materials. So for good penetration the round must penetrate 4 3 liter bottles to reach the FBI Mandated 12 inches of penetration. I know the Winchester Whitebox can do it. Hopefully later this week the ammo comes in and we can test it against the Winchester ammo.
For the FTC Disclaimer: LuckyGunner.Com is providing 1 box of 50 rounds of .45ACP ammunition for this test. The Winchester Whitebox ammunition I purchased myself for my own use.

The Zombie Apocalypse is here
Proof?
Here it is.
How else can you explain a bunch of people who have become the brain drain of our society? Rather than becoming responsible, contributing members of the American way of life, they demand free this, free that and someone to take care of them. In other words they are unthinking programmed Zombies, who are attempting to eat the seed corn of this country to make their lives a little easier.
I've got news for you folks, even if you got everything you asked for, inside of 6 months you will have nothing. No food, no money, no I-phone, no nothing. When you eat your seed corn, you don't have anything to plant to grow the next crop. And without that next crop you have famine and death.
But you don't see it that way. You want to take from those who have worked, those who are the means of generating wealth and prosperity in this country, and you want to punish them because they dare to rise above you. So you want to tear them down and destroy them. What happens when there is no one else to tear down? What happens when there are no more job producers in this country? What happens when there are No Jobs?
Think about it.

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. manufacturers are failing to fill thousands of vacant jobs, surprising when 14 million people are searching for work."
So many US Manufacturing Jobs , So few skilled workers
The problem according to the article has become more acut in the last 3 years. Last 3 years? Hmmm somehow that has a significance. As more and more people are graduating with a liberal arts degree, many businesses are clamoring for qualified and experienced engineers, machine operators you know "Skilled" applicants. Many of the "Occupy" idiots are recent Liberal Arts Graduates who have no, ZERO, NONE actual real world skills. Yet they expect someone to hand them a high paying job directly out of school. When the reality of that not happening hits them, you have these selfsame "Liberal Arts" grad in the streets protesting.
Part of this is the educational systems fault. They are not keeping up with the times, teaching a skill set this is a few years behind the current technology curve. Once again according to the article, fewer math and science graduates are graduating each year. And those are areas in very high demand. An engineering graduate with some real world experience can expect a job paying from 65,000 to 90,00 a year straight out of school. That is if they are willing to make a few sacrifices, such as moving to where the job is, and actually working in the field or on the production room floor. That is a heck of a lot better than making 14,000 to 22,000 a year at a fast food restaurant or a big-box store.
Thousands of jobs are out there for the right qualified person. The problem is the slackers sitting in front of Wall Street and in the various downtown area, don't want to actually work. They want everything handed to them on a silver platter.
"Give me this give me that, I don't want to be responsible for my own actions"
Sounds like a bunch of spoiled rotten kids to me, who are now throwing a tantrum because they didn't get what they wanted. They want a good paying job, but their degree is in a subject that no one currently hiring needs. They want their loans paid off, oh they are in so much debt getting their degree. Why won't someone pay it all off for them so they don't actually have to, you know, work.
And the liberal education institute, keeps taking their money and cranking them out, while telling them, "You are owed something because you have this piece of paper that will be worthless in the real world"
Uh huh. They are owed something all right a swift kick in the pa toot for actually believing those socialist in their school.
I'm done for now.

Michael Z. Williamson hits another one out of the park
"You live in a city. You don't know how to change a tire or oil. You don't know how to build a fire. You can't communicate without a cell phone. You can't fix your plumbing. You can't set up your own wifi. You're untrained in basic economics, chemistry, physics and history. You can't prepare food without packages, and aren't even aware that food has to be processed from root or bone before that. You only know and get paid for one very specialized task.
Yet you call me a "hick.""

How's that transparancy for you?
"House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s husband, a real estate developer and investment banker, stands to make millions of dollars in a previously undisclosed residential real estate project in California as a partner with the father of a woman Mrs. Pelosi helped become ambassador to Hungary, records show."

I think Bridget over at Hillbuzz is on to something
1. He can justify pushing for the elimination of our 2nd amendment right and…
2. Illegal immigrants can seek asylum here in the US for fear of falling victim to Mexican drug cartels.

A Conservative Lady Blogger takes on a nutjob
h/t to Borepatch
I don't think that means what you think it means.
h/t Ace
My thoughts on this are as such:
You are not guaranteed a job on graduation, so watch out how much debt you take on to buy that education.
You are not guaranteed the job you got your degree for, so be sure it's the right degree.
You are not guaranteed that even if you find a job in the field you want, and the pay is decent, that you still won't blow your money on stupid things instead of paying down your debt.
You are not guaranteed that someone will hold your hand and wipe your nose and bottom when you make a boo-boo or a mess.
You are not guaranteed that your boss will spend his profits, you know the reason he or she is business in the first place for, to better your life instead of theirs.
Now here are a few things that ARE guaranteed.
You are guaranteed that if you bust your butt and work hard. You will "EARN" an honest wage. It may not be the wage you think you deserve, but it will be an honest one.
You are guaranteed that if you look professional and act professional most people will treat you as a professional.
You are guaranteed that if you give respect to others, most will give it back to you.
You are guaranteed that life may not be fair, but everything is on the wheel and it WILL come around in the end, whether you are there to see it or not.
You are guaranteed that if you do good work, you will be recognized. Whether that recognition is from where or who you want it from, well that's NOT guaranteed.
And the most important thing, you are guaranteed that if you whine and moan and complain about hard life is, and camp out in the street to "protest" how you feel, and and demand what you "think" you are owed, you will get nothing but ridicule and derision from the vast majority of people who are still busting their butts and providing for themselves and their families.
(Just in case someone tries to wipe out the so-called demands I went to Freezepage.com and had their site take a snapshot of the entire page including the comments up to about 12:50 p.m. on October 11, 2011,which is visible at http://www.freezepage.com/1318355537WGMFGJWONA so later on they can't say, "Oh, we never said that." Right, like anyone other than the MSM and the Liberal left will believe that.)
So please get off your high horses and actually start trying to HELP resolve the situation. Instead of taking up space, making a mess and showing the rest of the world just how uncouth you actually are. ( and please check out all the links. I could have made every single letter a link to a news story or video, but I got tired of all the typing.)
So as you see, YOU are part of the Problem. You know the old saying.....
If you are not a part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
Well you are definitely part of the problem. You are being used. Your anger and frustration are being directed at the very establishments that create most of the jobs in this country. And before you say that I am a shill for the right wing conservative conspiracy, HERE is ANOTHER link for you to check out.
Tell me that you aren't being used.
Tell me, who has more to gain from your civil disobedience and protests.
Use that thing on top of your shoulders as something other than a place to park a pair of sunglasses or a hat on.
Do you honestly believe you are hurting the major institutions?
Do you honestly believe for one second that they actually CARE about what you have to say?
The only thing you've done to them is made them come in the back entrance or use the helicopter to get to their office, if they even went there. Or they could have used your actions as an excuse to take a vacation, taking their $$ outside of the country and spending it to stimulate someone else's economy.
Please get real, wake up and smell the coffee, oh excuse me the Latte'.
You people are nothing but little tools for the left wing and when they are done using you up, they will discard you like a dull razor.

Hit the nail on the head
Uhhhh, Really?
Congressman Lewis, you have my utmost and humble regards, and even though you and I are 180 degrees opposite politically I would still find myself to be honored in your very presence, and more than honored to ever be allowed to hear you speak publicly. You Sir are a living example of the American dream that those guttersnipes seek to tear down and destroy out of their own selfishness and ignorance.

Back?
Ok, lets start.
I've talked about my dislike for standardized tests on my show before, and my exact reasons for my dislike. The main reason is teachers will stop actually teaching, and will only teach "THE TEST". They will only teach the items that will be on the "Standardized" Test. That isn't what I want my kids to learn. I have said for years that a teachers main job is to teach a child to "THINK" If a child cannot think properly how do we expect them to function in society? If they suddenly find themselves outside of the teaching they received, how will they deal with the situation? The "TEST" is no help when you find yourself confronted with a situation which wasn't in the textbook, wasn't in the notes you took and it wasn't on the "Test". What are our kids going to do? These days when a child doesn't understand something the teachers practically give them the answers, then drill them so they remember the answers, all so they can pass "The Test". I'm sorry but when my kids ask me a question I have a standard response. "Look it up." I have 5 sets of encyclopedias in the house, 2 sets of Britannica's, a set of Grolier World Books, a set New Book Of Knowledge and a set of Schoolastic Encyclopedias. Then we have the internet, with sources such as Wikipedia, Britannica On-line and many other sources. There is the Kahn Academy for help with math, and other web-sites that a quick search can turn up. There is also the public library in town where the kids can check out a particular book on a subject they need help with. All of my kids are A and B students. There are a few areas where each has difficulty, but for the most part all of my kids are close to straight A students. I'm not bragging about, it's the truth. Because in my house if you ask a question, you will have to look it up, and my kids have found out a lot of things besides what they were looking up. Think of Wiki-wandering only with encyclopedias. One subject is connected to another, so you read up on that too because it looks interesting, my largest problem with my kids believe it or not is getting their noses OUT of a book to do their chores, well that and they demolish my pantry on a regular basis.
Granted in some cases the parent does have a lot to do when a child under performs at school, but not always. I'd look at all of the students in a teachers class. And he/she has many students under performing, I would seriously look at just how that teacher is doing their job. Because if they aren't teaching the students to actually think, just what are they teaching?
Counting Coup and 100 Heads
I pray to God the Almighty it never, EVER come to that, but in August 1985 I took an Oath to Defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. An Oath sworn to God has no expiration date other than the death of the person who gave it. Certain people need to realize that a lot of Americans take things like Oaths seriously, and we would rather die than to be forsworn. Hopefully they come to their senses and start to fulfill their own Oaths.

The attacks on Mitt Romney through his religion.
#1: I am not Mormon, I don't agree with some of the things represented in Mormonism.
#2: I don't like Mitt Romney, in fact I think he is a bag full of hot air who doesn't deserve to be an elected official, be it a dog catcher or the good Lord forbid the President.
#3: I like Herman Cain, Rick Perry and Sarah Palin, but my dream ticket is Fred Thomson and Joe Lieberman.
#4: I am an Ordained Non-Denominational Christian Minister. I have very LARGE issues with "Organized" Religion.
Now saying all that The Baptist Minister Robert Jeffers referred to Mitt Romney's Religion, Mormonism, as a "Cult". He defended his remarks and said he would still prefer Romney over the current resident of the White House. However he differentiates Mormonism as a "Theological" Cult instead of a "Sociological" Cult. Nice weasel wording there Brother Jeffers.
I did a little digging to see just how small this supposed "Cult" is.
Now granted the website I went to is run by the Mormon church, so it may bit a bit biased, but here are some numbers.
- Worldwide, there are over 13 million Mormons, nearly the same as the number of Jews.
- In the United States the LDS Church is the 4th largest individual denomination with over 5.5 million members, a population about equal to the number of Muslims.
- Only 12% of all Mormons live in Utah. Most Mormons do not live in North America.
- Aside from the United States, other regions with significant numbers of Mormons include Mexico and Asia (1 million members each), South America (3 million members), and Central America and Europe (about half a million each). The rapid growth the Church has been experiencing in Africa, where the number of Mormons already passes a quarter of a million, is particularly exciting.
- After Catholics, the LDS Church is the largest religion by number in ten U.S. states.
Hmmm, now that is interesting. What is the worldwide breakdown according to their site?
Wow! If this is true, the Mormon Church seems to be an EXTREMELY large "Cult". Most cults never number more than a few hundred, unless you're speaking about Scientology, but even they don't claim 13 million members.
But what about Mormons just here in the U.S.?
That is a lot... Hmmm I don't know of any "Cult" that has that large of a representation anywhere outside of Hollywood.
And if you want to see these numbers for yourself, here is the website I got them from. LINK
Now for someone to attack any candidate over their religion, I think is absolutely stupid and asinine. This country was built on the ideals of Religious freedom. As long as their religion doesn't harm others, it shouldn't matter. But of course their are the small minded people who think anyone who espouses their religion is wrong. I'm directing that comment to the Atheist idiots, who do their best to force their belief that they should be free from religion, and try to force their beliefs down everyone elses throat at the tip of litigation. In fact I think all the atheists have reached a point of being an organized religion, and should be sued to stop their religious interference in everything from private or public displays of Crosses to the Political correct movement they started.
I'm about to start a rant, so I'm going to bed.
