Prayers
After thinking about it a while, I decided to turn the blog list I had put up after we all though the Gun Blog Black Lit was gone into a Prayer Request blog. If you know someone who needs Prayers, please just post a comment over there. I ask that you check it once a day to see if people have been added to the list.

I used to live in St. Louis Missouri where the municipality of Town and Country tried to trap and relocate nuisance deer. Over 80% of the deer they relocated died from shock in the next several months.
Other municipalities tried putting foods laced with birth control drugs out where the deer could get them. There were then a few reports of deformed deer being born.
The only Humane way to control herd size is controlled culling. The safest way to perform a controlled culling in Bow Hunters.
Yet people are being killed and injured from hitting deer in accidents, property damage continues to occur, and the Enviro-Nazi's continue to block adequate control measures.

"Hospital officials have lodged a formal complaint with City Fire Commissioners. “We will not tolerate the Fire Department’s interfering with our plans” they state. “They could have waited to have their bus accident until after our drill. They knew all along when we had scheduled it for. It’s this ‘cowboy attitude’ they have that causes us to have no respect for them”, stated a senior hospital administrator."

King Arthur & The Witch-from the inbox
The truth and the road to wisdom has never been so obvious. Enjoy!
Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighbouring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death.
The question?...What do women really want? Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, and to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end.
He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.
Many people advised him to consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer.
But the price would be high as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.
The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question but he would have to agree to her price first.
The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table and Arthur's closest friend!
Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunchbacked and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, and made obscene noises. He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in his entire life.
He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden; but Lancelot, learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur.
Lancelot said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life and the preservation of the Round Table. Hence, the wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered Arthur's question thus:
What a woman really wants, she answered....is to be in charge of her own life.
Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth and that Arthur's life would be spared. And so it was, the neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom and Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.
The honeymoon hour approached and Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But what a sight awaited him. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed. The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened.
The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, she would henceforth be her horrible deformed self only half the time and the beautiful maiden the other half.
But which would he prefer? Beautiful during the day....or night?
Lancelot pondered his predicament. During the day, a beautiful woman to show off to his friends but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch? Or, would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day but by night, a beautiful woman for him to enjoy in wondrous intimate moments?

And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk. And then I heard the father talk. Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth. In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living. People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an Education, and now we've got these knuckleheads walking around. The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal. These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids. $500 sneakers for what? And they won't spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics. I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing there in an orange suit. Where were you when he was 2? Where were you when he was 12? Where were you when he was 18 and how come you didn't know that he had a pistol? And where is the father? Or who is his father? People putting their clothes on backward: Isn't that a sign of something gone wrong? People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn't that a sign of something? Isn't it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up and got all type of needles [piercing] going through her body? What part of Africa did this come from?? We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don't know a thing about Africa ....... I say this all of the time. It would be like white people saying they are European-American. That is totally stupid. I was born here, and so were my parents and grand parents and, very likely my great grandparents. I don't have any connection to Africa, no more than white Americans have to Germany , Scotland , England , Ireland , or the Netherlands . The same applies to 99 percent of all the black Americans as regards to Africa ... So stop, already! ! ! With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap ..........And all of them are in jail. Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person's problem. We have got to take the neighborhood back. People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight different 'husbands' -- or men or whatever you call them now. We have millionaire football players who cannot read. We have million-dollar basketball players who can't write two paragraphs. We, as black folks have to do a better job. Someone working at Wal-Mart with seven kids, you are hurting us. We have to start holding each other to a higher standard.. We cannot blame the white people any longer.' Dr..
