My two Hugo Nominations

First for Science Fiction Novel, K.B. Spangler for Greek Key.  K.B. Spangler is also the Author and Artist of A Girl and her Fed, a webcomic that I am also addicted to.

My nomination for Best Graphic Story is Luna-Star.  Which is part of the DataChasers universe and finished it's main story last year.

These are MY two nominations that I HAD to get in RIGHT NOW!!  I will probably be adding more nominations, but these two are the ones I really want to see win.

Forgotten Weapons - Le Français .32ACP Pistol

I actually like the setup of this pistol. The double action striker firing pin and the tip up barrel. I DON'T like the fact that removing the magazine automatically releases the barrel though. I think that should be modified. But even with that, I'd still be inclined to purchase one if I ever came across it. I think it is a neat solution.

The boys and I had a supervisor

earlier, they boys and I went over to my mom's house to start rescreening her back porch and planting a new fruit tree.

When we looked out across her back channel we found this guy watching us.

If you have trouble identifying him, he is a Blue Heron, and he stand on my mom's neighbor's deck for hours at a time according to my mother.

Tomorrow when we go back over to finish u the screens on her back porch, I"m taking my good camera just in case he is still hanging out there.

One of the things I like about living where I do is the ability to see all of the wildlife.  However, the deer and the wild boars are a bit of a pain in the butt when you hit them after dark.
