My two Hugo Nominations

First for Science Fiction Novel, K.B. Spangler for Greek Key.  K.B. Spangler is also the Author and Artist of A Girl and her Fed, a webcomic that I am also addicted to.

My nomination for Best Graphic Story is Luna-Star.  Which is part of the DataChasers universe and finished it's main story last year.

These are MY two nominations that I HAD to get in RIGHT NOW!!  I will probably be adding more nominations, but these two are the ones I really want to see win.

Some good reads

I found the web comic A Girl and her Fed, and I really enjoyed the story.  The artwork is slowly being updated and has gotten much, much better.  However I found out the creator of A Girl and her Fed is also an author with 3 books out and her fourth is being released soon.  Since the is giving away sample chapters of her fourth book FREE, I got the sample.  And I LOVED IT!!!

So I went and got her previous 3 books, which are called her "Rachel Peng Mysteries" and I LOVED THEM ALSO!!!.

She has printed versions available, both Autographed and not, E-Reader versions, (Which is what I bought) and I have to tell you.  I LIKE them.  A LOT!.

Her first Rachel Peng Mystery is Digital Divide, her second is Maker Space and her third is State Machine.

So click on the following link to go order one or ALL of her books, they are WELL WORTH reading and adding to your collection.

Web Comics

I read a LOT of web comics.  I read LOTS of books.  I read a LOT of news sites.   Heck I just read a LOT.  However I went back to do an archive dive of one of the web comics I read and I came across this strip.

Last panel.  "When your choices are 'Live Free or Die' or 'No thanks, it cuts into my free time'.  It's not worth discussing"

THAT is what is wrong with our nation.  No one wants to give up their "Free Time" or be inconvenienced.

And for that, we have the mess our Nation is currently in.

BTW, the webcomic in question is "A Girl and her Fed".  It is a VERY Good comic.  The old artwork is being updated and replaced as the authoress gets time.

And would anyone be interested in me putting up a page of many of the web comics I read on a regular basis?  I would create a separate page, like I did the the KTD Project, UTD 1A Project, Survival Videos and Specialization.

Let me know in the comments.
