Health Issue
I am currently dealing with a few health issues. I fell again and possibly herniated another disc in my back as my left leg is about 40-50% of it's normal strength. I also still haven't been able to afford getting my A/C repaired, so I have been dealing with temperatures in the 90's heat index well over 110 degrees. I am dealing with it, but it's hard, and couple that with my physical well being, it makes it more difficult.
Over on the right, there are some QR codes if you can donate some to help me get my A/C fixed. The Tech who came out said it would be almost $900. I've been paying down my credit card to try to build up enough of a buffer cover the cost, but it's hard.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have scheduled posts to go until tomorrow, I'm going to lay back down and put an ice bottle on my head.

Something is not adding up inside President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice.
The administration has created a Second Amendment enforcement unit, intervened on behalf of gun owners in major constitutional cases and publicly promised to protect the right to keep and bear arms. Yet DOJ attorneys continue filing lower-court briefs that sound as though Merrick Garland never left the building.
Constitutional attorney Mark Smith, host of The Four Boxes Diner, is calling attention to the latest and perhaps most glaring example: the government’s July 27 supplemental brief in Brown v. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The case, pending in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, challenges the National Firearms Act’s continued regulation and registration of short-barreled rifles and suppressors.

DSA’s Citizen-Disarmament Agenda Exposes Its Tyrannical Endgame - Ammoland.com
“Democrats, typically (but not always) aligned with gun control, are facing the prospect of their political party turning their gaze to complete control,” the National Shooting Sports Foundation reports. “Enter the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).”
“The DSA’s platform includes abolition of the U.S. Senate … replacing the President of the United States and U.S. Supreme Court with an Executive and Judicial Branch that would be subordinate to what’s left of Congress,” NSSF documents, adding “[I]n 2018, the DSA explicitly called for the repeal of the Second Amendment, stating, ‘… the only way to guarantee that we will dramatically reduce acts of violence involving guns is to remove guns from society.’”
That and they published a call for repealing the Second Amendment via a 28th Amendment that would prohibit “manufacturing, transportation or importation in or into any State, Territory, or possession of the United States for delivery or use therein of pump-action, semi-automatic or automatic firearms.”
“The Second Amendment is a Threat to us All,” that essay declared, and then dictated what would be “acceptable”:

Burchett Bill Aims to Stop Flock Cameras From Tracking Americans — Including Gun Owners - Ammoland.com
Representative Tim Burchett (R-TN) has introduced legislation that would ban federal agencies from purchasing, deploying, operating, accessing, or contracting for Flock Safety’s automated license plate reader cameras and similar mass-surveillance technologies, systems he has described as unconstitutional.
The Protection Against Mass Surveillance Act (H.R. 9800) was introduced on July 21, 2026, and referred to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. The bill prohibits federal agencies from acquiring or using automated surveillance systems that identify, track, or record individuals through automated license plate recognition (explicitly including Flock Safety cameras), facial recognition technology, biometric identification (fingerprint, iris, retina, voice, gait, or other biological characteristics), or any technology that captures, analyzes, or retains a person’s image, likeness, or other personally identifiable information for the purpose of persistent or mass surveillance. It further bars state, local, and tribal governments from using federal funds for the same systems. Any data collected in violation of the prohibition must be deleted within 30 days and is inadmissible in any court or administrative proceeding.
Burchett has framed the measure as a straightforward Fourth Amendment issue. Law enforcement needs tools, he has said, but “taking our constitutional rights is not on the table.”

Trying to locate
THIS is a Boker BFF Packlite Fixed Blade Knife Black Skeletonized (2.6" Black), from BladeHQ
Many, many, many years ago I had the standard polished stainless steel version of this knife with a leather sheath and a belt clip on the back. I am trying to locate that version again. The polished stainless version, I can find in a few places, but ALL versions I can find have kydex sheaths. NOT the black leather sheath with basketweave imprinting. I used to carry mine clipped to my basketweave Sam Brown Gunbelt when I was working security for the housing authority. And I lost it many years ago when my gearbag was stolen from the back of my car. They got my belt/knife, 2 pairs of handcuffs, expandable baton, pepperspray and holster, and my smelly boots, but my pistol was locked in the safe.
