You have to admit, anti-gun politicians are nothing if not persistent. Another not-so-subtle attempt to chip away at our gun rights has been introduced in Congress by Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL). Rep. Deutch introduces a litany of anti-gun bills on a regular basis. This bill, H.R. 4953, is one of his more ambitious and egregious bills.
H.R. 4953 would regulate most semi-automatic rifles under the National Firearms Act (NFA). All that would be necessary to be included under the NFA, according to this bill, is that a semi-auto has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine. That's it. Just do a quick review of your inventory and I am sure this bill would impact you. This means required registration, wait periods, and tax stamps for commonly owned firearms!
