From the age of 8 I used to let myself in the house and even sometimes cook my own dinner. I used to go EVERYWHERE on my own, on bike, foot, or skateboard. We have so pussified our society and beaten down every decent parent trying to impart REAL responsibility and independence to their children, that our future will surely be bleak.
