"Contractors sold the U.S. Army and Marine Corps thousands of ballistic helmets made by prison inmates containing numerous defects including "serious ballistic failures," according to a new Defense Department Office of Inspector General report.
The IG launched two joint investigations with the Defense Criminal Investigative Service, supported by elements of the U.S. Army, regarding allegations that Federal Prison Industries and ArmorSource LLC manufactured and sold Advanced Combat Helmets, or ACH, and Lightweight Marine Corps Helmets, or LMCH, to the military that failed to meet contract specifications and were ultimately defective, according to the report released Wednesday."
Click on that link, just take your blood pressure meds first. Over 120 thousand helmet were made that the DOD paid for that were faulty, made incorrectly, and intentionally sold by the companies in charge KNOWING that they were defective.
I'm sorry, but if you are making something for our troops and you KNOW the product, whatever it is, is defective or faulty, and you try to hide it and still pass it off on our troops, YOU need to go to jail.
Not pay back the money, you need to GO TO JAIL.
Do not pass Go, Do not collect $200.
JAIL!

Do You Know This Guy?-from the inbox
Do You Know This Guy?
He is Edward "Ed" Mezvinsky, born January 17, 1937. And so who is Ed Mezvinsky?
Well, he is a former Democrat congressman who represented Iowa's 1st congressional district in the United States House of Representatives for two terms, from 1973 to 1977.
He sat on the House Judiciary Committee that decided the fate of Richard Nixon.
He was outspoken saying that Nixon was a crook and a disgrace to politics and the nation and should be impeached.
He and the Clintons were friends and very politically intertwined for many years.
Ed Mezvinsky had an affair with NBC News reporter Marjorie Sue Margolies and later married her after his wife divorced him.
In 1993, Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky, then a freshman Democrat in Congress, cast the deciding vote that got President Bill Clinton's controversial tax package through the House of Representatives.
In March 2001, Mezvinsky was indicted and later pleaded guilty to 31 of 69 counts of federal criminal bank fraud, mail fraud, and wire fraud.
Ed Mezvinsky embezzled more than $10 million dollars from people via both a Ponzi scheme and the notorious Nigerian e-mail scams.
He was found guilty and sentenced to 80 months in federal prison.
After serving less than five years in federal prison, he was released in April 2008 and remains on federal probation.
To this day, he still owes $9.4 million in restitution to his many victims.
About now you are saying, "So what!"
Well, this is Marc and Chelsea Mezvinsky.
That's right; Ed Mezvinsky is Chelsea Clinton's father-in law.
Now Marc and Chelsea are in their early thirties and purchased a $10.5 million NYC apartment.
Has anyone heard mention of any of this in any of the media?
If this guy was Jenna or Barbara Bush's, or better yet, Sarah Palin's daughter's father-in- law, the news would be an everyday headline and every detail would be reported over and over and over.
And yet liberals say there are no double standards in political reporting.
And people are already talking about Hillary as our next President!
And then there is possibly Chelsea for president in our future!
The cycle never ends!
Lying and corruption seem to make Democrat candidates more popular.

Global warming 'pause' may last for 20 more years and Arctic sea ice has already started to recover
Study says warmer temperatures are largely due to natural 300-year cycles
Actual increase in last 17 years lower than almost every prediction
Scientists likened continuing pause to a Mexican wave in a stadium
How many times are we going to have dispel all the Global Warming idiots falsehoods? And yet they will still keep trotting out their lies and hysteria, all the while collecting dollars to "Fight" a non-existent threat to our survival.
Can we just prosecute all of the idiots and throw them in jail for fraud?
Maybe then the truth will be allowed to be taught.

Where did Harry (Pederast) Reid get his money?
Jeff G at Protein Wisdom quotes an article by Betsy Woodruff from the National Review and has some information that you might find interesting.
A sampler:
"In 2004, the senator made $700,000 off a land deal that was, to say the least, unorthodox. It started in 1998 when he bought a parcel of land with attorney Jay Brown, a close friend whose name has surfaced multiple times in organized-crime investigations and whom one retired FBI agent described as “always a person of interest.” Three years after the purchase, Reid transferred his portion of the property to Patrick Lane LLC, a holding company Brown controlled. But Reid kept putting the property on his financial disclosures, and when the company sold it in 2004, he profited from the deal — a deal on land that he didn’t technically own and that had nearly tripled in value in six years."

Justice under the law of Obama
You embezzle millions from your clients and investors, violate dozens of of Securities Laws, and all you need to do to avoid even being charged with a crime? Donate money to Obama.
"A criminal investigation into the collapse of the brokerage firm MF Global and the disappearance of about $1 billion in customer money is now heading into its final stage without charges expected against any top executives."
Such as Jon Corzine, one of Obama's top campaign $$ bundlers.
"Jon Corzine -- under federal and congressional investigation following accusations that the securities firm he headed illegally took clients' funds before collapsing -- is among President Obama's top re-election campaign bundlers, raising at least $500,000, according to the campaign’s filing Friday with the Federal Election Commission."
