Welll no Actually for me it will be BAK Buy A Knife.  I'm having a custom knife made.  It's going to cost me a rather large amount but it is 80% my personal design.  And the person making it is a highly talented and competent blade maker.  First I will post "MY" design, then I will post His modifications to my design, which will make it a much better blade.  Please excuse the cruddy scans.

The last one is his modification of my design.  If everything goes right.  I should have it in my hands by summertime.  Just in time to give it a real work out while camping and hiking with my kids.  This is NOT a fighting knife.  This is a field utility knife.  Designed to be used and abused.  And while it will cost me more than I usually pay for a firearm.  In my opinion, this will be worth it.  For the hand crafted quality, and I know the knife maker.  I know people who have and use his blades.  And they are all above satisfied.  I will ask him to document the build when he starts making it for me.  And NO!  I will NOT tell you who he is.  UNTIL I have my blade in hand, so everyone ordering their own custom blades, doesn't get my knife pushed on to the back burner.  :)

Fortunately, I had my trusty camera with me, so I was able not only to snap a few pictures but also record several key portions of his speech, which I found so eye-opening that I felt the general public deserved to hear it as well

This is sick and disgusting in my opinion. I have three teenage daughters, and this so called comedienne thinks this if "Funny". No it's not. It sends the wrong message to young women that there are no consequences for their actions. I don't agree with abortion. However as I have said on my show and I believe a few times here on my blog, unless I am the father of the child which might be aborted, "I" have no say in the womans choice to get one. I can say however, I will pay for counseling, I will pay for adoption, I will pay for medical expenses for that child. I REFUSE to pay for the abortion however. Unless it is necessary to save the life of the mother or in the cases of rape or incest, I'm sorry. I WILL NOT pay for it. And I DO NOT want my tax dollars to pay for it either. I will gladly pay for birth control, I will gladly pay for adoption services. But the decision whether or not she should or shouldn't have an abortion is not mine, so I have no say in the matter. It is between her and God. Because every child is precious and should be protected. For some person, I'm sorry in my opinion Ms. Silverman doesn't even rate that courtesy, for some CALLOUS IGNORANT IDIOT! to make a joke out of something like the destruction of a human life, is beyond the pale. HOW DARE YOU! Ms. Silverman a public person, even JOKE about something like that. I have talked to my daughters about their sexuality, and I have told them if they need birth control we will get it. My two oldest daughters are on birth control, the youngest isn't because of the Physicians recommendation. My children know how I stand on the issue of abortion, and they agree with me. The availability of birth control should make it so there are LESS abortions in this country. However for the years 1998 to 2008 the last reported year the statistics are approximately 267.1 abortions per 1000 live births averaged out over 10 years. Don't believe me HERE is the link you can do the math yourself. How is it with the increased availability of birth control, the abortion rates do not go down? The population has been increasing, the availability of birth control has been increasing. Should the rate of abortions have decreased?

I'm getting off my soap box as I'm raising my blood pressure unnecessarily. For shallow callous unthinking people, abortion is not a joke. It is not a comedy routine. Maybe this is why Hollywood still can't figure out why their big block buster anti war message movies tank. They don't think like the rest of America does.

Ilya Somin over at Volokh Conspiracy discusses a Wall Street Journal piece about rebuilding after a tornado in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Joplin, Missouri.

In six minutes, it put nearly one-tenth of the city’s population into the unemployment line. A month later, Joplin, Mo., suffered an even more devastating blow. In a city with half the population of Tuscaloosa, a tornado killed 161 and damaged or destroyed more than 6,000 buildings…."

I was under the impression that the4th Amendment prohibited "Fishing Expeditions" for information to check for "Possible" crimes.

Also under the 5th Amendment wouldn't this so called "Evidence" be inadmissible? Especially if it was obtained through a violation of the 4th amendment?

Why can't the Government keep it's nose out of my business? If I am committing no observable crime, or acting in such a way as to give the government "Probable Cause", what makes them think it is ok for them to try to find something in the absence of evidence? The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are there to LIMIT overbearing and malicious prosecutions by overzealous and biased agents of the government. I would like to know just under what section of the Constitution this is legal and allowable. Until such time as it can be PROVEN to be legal and allowable under the Constitution, any further attempts by the Government to obtain such technology, should be forbidden to it.

In case you did not know, Social Security IS taxable. Now you know about another democrat party lie.

To continue: this shifting of income from 2012 to 2011 put me in higher tax brackets. It also made part of my Social Security taxable which bumped me into yet another higher tax bracket.

The end result was an additional $251.00 in income taxes. This was effectively a reduction in pay of $251.00 for that “thirteenth month”.

That may not sound like much, but it is more than one month’s basic utilities (gas, water, and electric) for me."

It's "the quantity projected to be used over the next five years" by DHS, excluding the Coast Guard, which gets its ammunition through the Department of Defense."

Good old days This one is for all us who actually watched a black and white TV. This was the life!! BLACK AND WHITE TV "Good night and God bless." Go all the way to the bottom past the pictures..... I think you'll enjoy it. Whoever wrote this must have been my next door neighbor because it totally described my childhood to a 'T.' Hope you enjoy it. Black and White Black and White (Under age 40? You won't understand.) You could hardly see for all the snow, Spread the rabbit ears as far as they go. Pull a chair up to the TV set, 'Good Night, David. Good Night, Chet.' My Mom used to cut chicken, chop eggs and spread mayo on the same cutting board with the same knife and no bleach, but we didn't seem to get food poisoning. My Mom used to defrost hamburger on the counter and I used to eat it raw sometimes, too. Our school sandwiches were wrapped in wax paper in a brown paper bag, not in ice pack coolers, but I can't remember getting e.coli. Almost all of us would have rather gone swimming in the lake instead of a pristine pool (talk about boring), no beach closures then. The term cell phone would have conjured up a phone in a jail cell, and a pager was the school PA system. We all took gym, not PE...and risked permanent injury with a pair of high top Ked's (only worn in gym) instead of having cross-training athletic shoes with air cushion soles and built in light reflectors. I can't recall any injuries but they must have happened because they tell us how much safer we are now. Flunking gym was not an option.... even for stupid kids! I guess PE must be much harder than gym. Speaking of school, we all said prayers and sang the national anthem, and staying in detention after school caught all sorts of negative attention. We must have had horribly damaged psyches. What an archaic health system we had then.. Remember school nurses? Ours wore a hat and everything. I thought that I was supposed to accomplish something before I was allowed to be proud of myself. I just can't recall how bored we were without computers, Play Station, Nintendo, X-box or 270 digital TV cable stations. Oh yeah... and where was the Benadryl and sterilization kit when I got that bee sting? I could have been killed! We played 'king of the hill' on piles of gravel left on vacant construction sites, and when we got hurt, Mom pulled out the 48-cent bottle of mercurochrome (kids liked it better because it didn't sting like iodine did) and then we got our butt spanked. Now it's a trip to the emergency room, followed by a 10-day dose of a $49 bottle of antibiotics, and then Mom calls the attorney to sue the contractor for leaving a horribly vicious pile of gravel where it was such a threat. We didn't act up at the neighbor's house either; because if we did we got our butt spanked there and then we got our butt spanked again when we got home. I recall Donny Reynolds from next door coming over and doing his tricks on the front stoop, just before he fell off. Little did his Mom know that she could have owned our house. Instead, she picked him up and swatted him for being such a goof. It was a neighborhood run amuck. To top it off, not a single person I knew had ever been told that they were from a dysfunctional family. How could we possibly have known that we needed to get into group therapy and anger management classes? We were obviously so duped by so many societal ills, that we didn't even notice that the entire country wasn't taking Prozac! How did we ever survive? LOVE TO ALL OF US WHO SHARED THIS ERA; AND TO ALL WHO DIDN'T, SORRY FOR WHAT YOU MISSED. I WOULDN'T TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING! Pass this to someone and remember that life's most simple pleasures are very often the best.

The announcement comes about seven months after Solyndra, the California solar firm that received a $535 million loan guarantee from the administration in 2009, went bankrupt, setting off a firestorm in Washington."

Power packs must be hot swappable and provide 36-48 hours of use per charge. 6-10v
DC compatible with helmet systems.

The politicians could really change things if that pesky supreme court would just play along and listen to their betters who know so much more than them about things such as the constitution and constitutional law. I mean next thing you know those uppity Justices will be asking if the Department of Justice actually believes in upholding the Laws and Constitution of the United States. Oh, Wait...... They already did.

Oh, but our president is so enlightened he wouldn't think of trying to undermine the judicial branch and actually try to issue edicts to them. Oh, Wait.... He did?

President Obama is without a doubt the most vindictive, petty and petulant individual I have ever seen in my entire life. Come on Officers and Deputies. It is NOT against the law for someone to video tape or otherwise record your actions as a public servant. You work for the public! You are supposed to UPHOLD the LAW. Please make sure you KNOW what the law is yourselves.



Description of video is as follows:

"Hostile Houston Cop comes after two innocent guys video taping at a Wal-Mart in SouthWest Houston for NO REASON, the men were held against their will before later being hand-cuffed to be arrested but released after another cop came to their rescue. The incident was only resolved after the cop tried to bribe and threaten the men to ERASE this footage or go to JAIL.... (This is a REAL police officer of the Kenefick TX Police Department. Apparently he works part-time as a guard for Wal Mart after his shift. This information was CONFIRMED by the other police officer who came to our rescue on the scene and who's information will remain anonymous for being a better person although they also took the bad cops side when it came to erasing the footage before our release. We made them think we erased it so YOU could see this for yourself. Also what you see in this video is the FIRST contact made with the police officer which was initiated by HIM. Had he ordered we stop video taping Wal Mart or just to plain STOP video taping we would have been happy to comply, but his issue was "Don't record ME!!" when my friend asked "What? Stop Recording?" the officer replied only with "NOT ME" and both of us confirmed he was not being recorded on purpose and continued with our harmless film which would probably have NEVER even surfaced had he not done what you see here) The police department also denies this as one of their own even while his information is public knowledge. We have yet to hear about him being in anyway punished for his actions so your help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks for watching!"

William The Coroner, who passed away, still and always will be listed in honor of a great man. There are a few others, blogger who have just dropped out of sight, or have hung up their keyboards. I will keep the links to their blogs as I consider their writings to be very good, and that they should be read and appreciated.

Isn't it Illegal?

I was under the impression that American Election laws prohibited contributions from outside the United States. In the last election the Obama campaign turned off the credit card verification for donations. There were several complaints of people finding mysterious charges on their credit card statements, to the Obama campaign, but as far as I know, there was never any prosecutions.

Atheism is a religion

For years, Atheists have sued, protested and harassed everyone else about religion and the practicing thereof.

Now Atheists have started an event for non-believers similar to events by theists. This event targeted atheists and non-believers in the military. The event, called "Rock Beyond Belief" took place at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in the same area where "Rock the Fort" an event put on by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in 2010.

The event organizer, Justin Griffith, a sergeant in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Bragg stated, "We're sending a message, foxhole atheists are out there fighting for your rights. Please return the favor."

Fort Bragg's garrsion commander said that allowing the event to be held on base was the Army's way of ensuring all soldiers, believers or not are treated equally.

Guest speaker, Richard Dawkins author and well known Atheist commented that he wished religious soldiers would have attended, "Because I was hoping to change their minds".

That sounds just like witnessing to me. If you don't know what witnessing is, it is where religious people go out and talk to people who may not believe in an attempt to get them to accept religion.

Does the Atheist wish to collect donations and use of the chapels mean they are religious in nature?

Does the Atheist desire to "Change" the minds of Theists denote that they are acting in a religious capacity?

Is the Atheists belief in Non-Belief, a faith in and of itself?

If you agree with me that the Atheists are a religious organization, (which I have been saying for years), then don't they need to quit filing law suits to force their beliefs on others? They file lawsuits to remove any reference of religion in government or on government property. Isn't that forcing their beliefs on everyone else? They file lawsuits so people can't have a prayer or a moment of silence at a high school game, or a moment of silent time in class. Aren't they doing what they say Theists are doing? Forcing their beliefs on others.

I personally have no problem with Atheists. I know many of Atheists, and they live good moral lives just like everyone else. My issue is their trying to force everyone else to "Toe their line" As if they are the final arbiters of what is and isn't right. Isn't that kind of egotistical of them?

All I will say about this for now is....

If you don't like something, no one is forcing you to do it. The US Constitution doesn't guarantee you the right to not be offended by something, so if you don't like it do go there. Or you can do what thousands and maybe millions of other people do. They ignore it, or overlook it, so they don't effect others. It's called common courtesy. Maybe Atheists and Theists could look it up... And start using it.

On Friday March 30th, The Week ran a story about how the Supreme Court has soured on Obama Care. They discuss 4 things that they suggest legal experts got wrong. But the kicker is at the end.

"Of course, there's another possibility: Maybe Chief Justice John Roberts or swing vote Justice Anthony Kennedy will vote to uphold ObamaCare, if only out of fear that striking it down "will be remembered for 100 years as the product of a partisan and undemocratic court."
