The exceeding use of profanity

I will give you a quote that my Grandmother and Father gave to me any time I slipped up and used profanity.

Which may show just what is wrong with our current educational system.

"The use of profanity, shows a lack of proper vocabulary."

Now I will grant, there have been and are times when the use of profanity gives a necessary emphasis.  It is the overuse of profanity, however that shows a very marked lack of education and it's accompanying vocabulary and fluency in your own language.
