Prophecy

I'd like you to look around at what is happening in our country.  And then I want you to read a book.

A book by David Weber.

The book is in his long running series about Honor Harrington and the Honorverse.

Look at what is happening in our own country and read that book.

It is almost prophetic.

I pray however the final third of the book doesn't prove as prophetic as the first 2 thirds.

It is almost prophetic as "The Road to Damascus", which is another book I highly suggest you read and the look around at our country.

The destruction of our Armed forces by the Obama Administration

is progressing. I hate to say this, but I think that by this time next year, our military forces will be hard pressed to operate at even 40% of their mandated capacity.  The draw down of forces, the reduction of training, maintenance and benefits, is all a plan by the current administration to reduce our country's military and to "Level the Field" and give greater emphasis to "United Nations" operations.  In other words, we will not be able to fulfill our obligations and as such would have our remaining forces swept under the banner of the UN as peacekeeping forces for use outside of our country, ONLY.  If our forces are reduced and deployed to other places, they cannot be used in the United States to uphold Oaths they swore.

I know, I'm being all conspiracy theory and stuff.  However look at what is happening to our country and our military since the current administration took office.  Seriously.  Look at the executive orders, look at the public statements, look at all the various deals that have been made.  Then tell me that something "ISN'T" Rotten in the state of Denmark, or the US of A.

"Well, until someone relieves us of the requirement, or they're no longer mission-effective," he said. "At the end of the day, I've invested in their training. They're forward-deployed. I don't have to retrain them. The problem is, how long can we keep them ready at a proper level out there on deployment until their reliefs are properly trained?"

Looks like he was a prophet
