According to DHS, your "Rights" aren't your Rights

Mayor Anthony R. Silva, who was elected in November 2012, had traveled to China for a mayor’s conference, he said in a statement. Upon his return home on Monday, Silva was briefly detained by Department of Homeland Security agents and had his belongings searched, he said.

“A few minutes later, DHS agents confiscated all my electronic devices including my personal cell phone. Unfortunately, they were not willing or able to produce a search warrant or any court documents suggesting they had a legal right to take my property. In addition, they were persistent about requiring my passwords for all devices,” Silva said.

Silva was not allowed to leave the airport until he gave his passwords to the agents, which the mayor’s personal attorney, Mark Reichel, claimed is illegal.

The mayor said the agents told him confiscating property from travelers at the airport was “in fact routine and not unusual,” and promised to return the items within a few days.

Silva was also told he had “no right for a lawyer to be present” and that being a U.S. citizen did not “entitle me to rights that I probably thought.”

Since when does DHS (Department of Homeland Security) decide on what is and is not a "Right" guaranteed to us under the Constitution?

Are they Judges? Have they been to law school? Are they sworn in by the State Bar?

I'm sorry, this needs to be RE-Litigated.

Evidently, our Rights don't begin until we are 100 miles + from a Customs or Border Checkpoint.

Someone needs to read the Constitution, especially the 4th Amendment.

Ebola Patients being "Disappeared"?

I don't normally read Alex Jones InfoWars site, but when Drudge links him as he sometimes does I give it a look to see what claims he is making.

And when I read the following linked story I know there is some truth to it.  As there have been some possible cases of Patients with Enterovirus D68 who went to the hospital and have then "Disappeared" AMA, (Against Medical Advice).  I have a "Friend" who works in the medical field, and they have told me of a death that was from EVD68, but was reported as simple pneumonia, and of several patients, 2 of them children who checked in, then 8-10  hours later checked out AMA and have "Disappeared".  No answer at the phone numbers left, and when medical staff were going to have Law Enforcement and Children Protective Service check on the patients, they were told by "DHS" the patients are being properly cared for and to transfer all records to "DHS".

My "Friend" doesn't have a reason to lie to me, that I am aware of, but if this is true, it is very frightening.

Now on to Alex Jones post.

So if the .GOV is hiding Ebola and EVD68 cases from the public, what ELSE is being hidden?

I hate sounding like a Conspiracy Theorist, but there is too much happening that doesn't make sense legally, medically or ethically.

So make your own determination, read all of the stories, look for yourself.  Don't take my word for it.  Just do your own research.  And you will probably find that things don't quite pass the smell test when it comes to the .GOV's handling of Ebola, EVD68 and other things.

Why does the Department of Homeland Security need 75.1 MILLION rounds of ammo?

"The Department of Homeland Security plans to purchase 75.1 million rounds of ammunition at a cost of $22.7 million this year, according to a newly released report from the Government Accountability Office."

And why do they have 70,000 armed officers?  In addition to all the various armed officers from other departments?  Even the Internal Revenue Service has an armed tactical team.  I ask again.  Why?

DHS Knows something is coming

After all they know from other government agencies just what the rest of the monstrosity is doing and not doing.  So is this really any surprise?


"The Department of Homeland Security is set to spend $80 million dollars on hiring a raft of armed guards to protect IRS and other government buildings in upstate New York during “public demonstrations” and “civil disturbances,” once again prompting concerns that the federal agency is preparing for food stamp riots, anti-tax demonstrations or some other form of domestic unrest."

Here are my questions.

These armed guards and security officers, are they going to be held to the state standard of training or the federal standard of training?

What armaments are they going to be issued?

Who is the direct supervisor for them?

Who does that supervisor answer to?

Put it all together it is very disturbing

"Even if the 1.6 billion rounds is a 5 year purchasing deal to secure a low price, as claimed by DHS, it's enough ammo to last them about 200 years at normal training and duty carry levels.  What was the analogy about Iraq and Afghanistan?  Enough ammo to last 20 years there?

One of the other comments I read "somewhere" mentioned the murders of the Vietnamese leaders by the Communists in Hue City, Viet Nam.  The Communists knew who they were looking for and knew where they lived.  They went in at night and arrested them, then murdered them.  Same thing happened during the years when Hitler was consolidating his power in Germany and again throughout the Soviet Union when the Communists wanted to secure their power there.  They knew who they wanted, they knew where they were, they just went and got them when the time was right.  It happens during every government takeover.  Prevents (or minimizes) an uprising and possible revolution, ya know..."

What are they "Preparing" for?

as a "Personal Defense Weapon"  Why aren't ordinary citizens allowed to arm themselves the same way?

Oh yeah, not during the election

It sure would be nice if everything I had every screwed up in my life couldn't be brought up ever again.  Man it must be great to be a Democrat and have the DHS and the press cover for you all the time.

When you look at everything it does seem as if something is a little hinky with the situation.

DHS and TSA are going to do WHAT?!

 Oh really?  And people like me who have rather bad health issues such as heart arrhythmia and lots of metal in our bodies, the fact this could kill us doesn't matter?
