I knew I wasn't crazy. I've been remembering this interview from many years ago that I read in a Playboy Magazine. And I finally remembered enough about it to tweak my Search Terms to find a copy of it.
"The subject of this interview is an explosives expert who worked for 20 years
designing assassination devices for the CIA while holding various cover jobs
in military, research and development. While still in high school, he was
regularly approached by CIA contacts with requests for poisons, explosives,
guns, silencers and specially designed gadgets for killing or incapacitating
people. He worked his way through a number of employers during this period
and finally, ended up director of research at a large, well known firearms
manufacturer, where he continued to do work for the CIA as well as
implement Projects for the gun company, which in turn, sold its work to the
military.
His career began in the early Fifties. In the late Sixties, he-had two heart
attacks. His absence from work in as many years due to illness finally. forced
him to quit and in 1970 he ,had his last official contact with the CIA. At this
meeting, he said he did not want to do any more work for the agency. For a
number of months, they followed him, thinking that he was running guns to
radicals or showing them how to build terrorist weapons.. They finally left him
alone, as far as he was able to tell.
To establish his credibility, I verified that he did hold the jobs he claims to
have held. In addition to this, I saw extensive documentation, of the type work
he was doing. He also showed me. several devices that he had built for the
CIA, including a modified butane 'cigarette lighter that fired a tiny poisoned
dart capable of Penetrating a heavy coat, He brought out an explosive
.22-caliber bullet, which I tested in the presence of a firearms expert. It did
explode. His activities were also verified by others in the intelligence
community, who are involved in similar fields. And, finally, he was given a
series of lie-detector tests, which indicated that he was telling the truth.
The subject wanted to remain anonymous to protect his family. Chemical and
material names have been deleted in some cases to avoid providing a "cook
book" of weapons and tactics,
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: During the Senate select committees investigation of intelligence activities
of the CIA, chairman Frank Church was shown a "poison dart gun" by William
Colby, former CIA director. during the week of September 15, 1975, this was
shown on television and on the front pages of newspapers around the
country. Do you know anything about that gun?
A: I must have seen half a dozen different dart guns at one time or another,
because I was testing either ballistics or methods of applying poisons. The
one in the Church committee was said to be electric. I doubt that very much.
The electric guns I saw used magnetic bullets, but they had to be much
larger.
Q: Do you think the CIA was lying?
A: It wouldn't be the first time."
This was going on in the 50's and 60's. And with more recent revelations of targeted assassinations by our government, how can we be sure they haven't refined their technology and techniques to the point the Perfect Assassination is now possible?
And how can we possibly protect ourselves?

The Obama Administration caught in another lie.
"Before the Obama administration gave an inaccurate narrative on national television that the Benghazi attacks grew from an anti-American protest, the CIA’s station chief in Libya pointedly told his superiors in Washington that no such demonstration occurred, documents and interviews with current and former intelligence officials show."
Coupled with the GOP on the attack for Her Hide, the Heir Apparent, Hillary Clinton's future doesn't look too good.
"He said the lapse between the requests for more security from Ambassador Chris Stevens, who was killed in the attack, and the government’s response will lead straight to the State Department.“That’s Hillary Clinton in a word, yes or no?” Bill Hemmer asked.Westmoreland said, “Yes, that’s right. It was her show.”
SO just how tight will the GOP turn the screws? Will they make Hillary too toxic before the 2016 campaign season? If they do will that allow a hidden candidate to come in from the shadows and take the lead?

Even Paranoids have enemies
"Someone might be watching you through your laptop's webcam – without even activating the warning light. Reports say the FBI has had this capability for several years, and researchers at John's Hopkins were able to demonstrate how to covertly spy via webcams in MacBooks."
I've been accused of being paranoid. Those people who called me that pointedly ignore every news story I send them about Edward Snowden's revelations.
They totally ignore every other story I send them about the NSA, FBI, CIA, DEA, and ATF Abuses.
And yet they still call me paranoid.
I call them oblivious and clueless.

The Gestapo, the Stasi and the KGB all rolled into one
"This employee snitch policy for the Federal government is intent on making all government employees spy upon one another, like loyal communist East Germans before 1989. Das ist die neu Stasi. Failure to report someone suspicious is now grounds for termination or for release from a contract. And we aren't just talking about people who are read-on for SCI here. We are talking about all Federal employees."
I thought we lived in the United States of America. Not a Communist or Socialist country where paranoia runs rampant.

Physical computer security
"The target was at Fridayevening prayers at the local mosque. But rather than ransack the apartment and stealthe computer equipment and other valuables while he was away -- as any right-minded burglar wouldnormally have done -- one of the men pulled out a disk and loaded some programs onto the resident's laptop computer while the other man kept watch at thewindow. The whole operation took less than two minutes, then the two trespassers fled the way they came, leaving no trace that they had ever been there."
Many years ago there was an 8 bit ISA card that was installed into your computer that was an extra security measure for some computers. The card logged every time the computer was turned on and required an additional password to be entered before it would allow access to the hard drive. Does anyone know what the name of that card was? And if there is a current iteration of it? I think I should look into adding something like that to my computers.
Not that I'm doing anything illegal, however with what I'm seeing going on with our so called "Security" agencies and knowing what I write on my blog, I wouldn't put it past the current crop of idjits to try to find out what I keep on my hard drives. And for those idjits, everything on my drives is legal, even if you don't think I should have some of it, it IS legal for me to possess it. It only becomes Illegal if I have the INTENT of using the knowledge those files possess. And I personally have no intent to do so. I'd really like to see my kids grow up get married and have kids of their own, and I really want to dance at my grandkids weddings. So NO, I have no intent on using the files you wish I and millions of others didn't have. But it would tickle me silly if I added security hardware to my computers just to inconvenience you. And you might ask yourselves why that would tickle me silly. It's because you are over stepping your authority and abusing the public trust in the process. If you quit doing the things which you KNOW are unconstitutional even though they are "technically" legal with the cover of judicial connivance. You KNOW that it is wrong. So stop doing it.

Is your Smartphone Secure?
Earlier today I tweeted about the possibility that the .GOV had compromised your computers through a backdoor.
Then just a minute ago I found this article about how the CIA is writing a backdoor for the Android Operating System.
The NSA Has Inserted Its Code Into Android OS, Or Three Quarters Of All Smartphones
From the article I found out that a backdoor was written into Windows 95 and possibly all further iterations of the Microsoft Operating System. And now they are writing code specifically for the Android Operating system. And when Google was asked their comment is:
"Google spokeswoman Gina Scigliano confirms that the company has already inserted some of the NSA’s programming in Android OS. "All Android code and contributors are publicly available for review at source.android.com." Scigliano says, declining to comment further."
Since Apple is so secretive about everything they do, I just wonder how many Apple devices are compromised at the factory, and just how truly secure our electronic communications actually are.
What if the .GOV leaned on @microsoft and @apple to put in a backdoor to everyones computers through an added update? #nsaprism #nsaspying

Drone Warfare and the Central Intelligence Agency
"The Washington Post published an article today that goes to show how numb we American citizens have become to our .gov breaking the rules. Major violations of the Constitution are just an interesting paragraph in an article about the CIA and drones. Just the title of the article should catch everyone's eye and make us take note. CIA drone strikes will get pass in counterterrorism ‘playbook,’ officials say. The title pretty much covers the story. The Administration has developed a 'playbook' that is supposed to govern when and how we use drones to assassinate people, and the CIA doesn't have to play by the book."

There is a few things in that post you need to read and think about.
In the future will the .GOV be allowed to use a drone strike or an FBI Tactical Team to take out someone considered an "Extremist" and anybody around them is just "Oooopps, My bad." With no accountability?
