Via Ammoland - UPS refuses to ship suppressors

"NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) this week learned that United Parcel Service (UPS) had changed its policy regarding the shipment of firearms suppressors.

New policy states that UPS will no longer ship suppressors, even between licensees."

How much do we want to bet this is related to Operation Choke Point, as a way to make it HARDER for law abiding Citizens to obtain a LEGAL product.

Possibly someone from the DOJ or the BATFE pressuring UPS to disallow shipping of NFA items.

M855 Ban - BATFEIEIO B. Todd Jones Ain't Done Yet

Read that. And DON'T quit contacting your Representatives.

They are after ALL of our rifle rounds. Never mind that rifles account for so little of the violent crime compared to hands/fists/blunt objects.

The vast majority of homicides were committed with HANDGUNS.  And almost all soft body armor will resist almost any handgun round in common use.

And why would a criminal want to carry a "Handgun" that weighs over 5 lbs, is almost impossible to conceal, and attempts to conceal are more apt to draw attention to the fact that they have something to hide.

No, this whole attempt to ban M855 is an attempt to make ammunition less available, make it harder for people to shoot.  If they can't shoot, why would they want to purchase a rifle to shoot it?

Back door Gun Control.  That is ALL this attempt was.

Uhh why is the FBI manufacturing our own Jihadi when we have ISIS to worry about?

Why does this seem more like the FBI trying to justify their existence similar to the BATFE ate Ruby Ridge and Waco?

Add in that the FBI shut them out of the Navy Yard Shooting Investigation, I wonder just how long the Agency will remain as a free agent.

Another BATFEIEIO Screw up

The ATF is usually keen on getting publicity for its operations, but not the kind the Milwaukee sting has generated."

Again the "Professionals" are show to be idiots. Granted there are quite a few Agents in the BATFEIEIO who are both good at their job and actually follow and respect the laws they are supposed to enforce.  However the idiots are making them all look like fools.

Going into a so called high crime area with an already declining crime rate, buying firearms for almost twice as much as their current value, lackadaisical records keeping, inept and ill thought operating procedures.  Coupled with other incidents, is it any wonder that people don't trust them?

When you can't even properly identify a subject for prosecution, something has gone extremely wrong.

Over Reaction once the cat is out of the bag

With the advent of new printing technologies, the government and several of it's agencies are struggling to play catch up.

Once again the government in this case the BATFEIEIO is trying to change the rules in mid game.  Making something LEGAL, ILLEGAL.  In order to prohibit a legal exercise of our rights and freedoms.  How many more times are we going to put up with the ham handed, questionable  actions of the an out of control federal agency, whose utility and need is under question itself?

The BATFEIEIO has admitted to some "Ethical" Issues

War on Drugs is now a war on Money

You are buying a car. You go to the bank and get out the money you worked hard for a year to save so you could buy this car. You ask a friend for a ride, as you don't have a car. For some reason your friend gets pulled over by the cops. The next thing you know, your hard earned money is being seized and you can't get it back. This is happening all over the US and Eric Holder and the BATFEIEIO want to make it much easier for them to do it.
